Yun Kai made a face at him and pushed him away, trying to stand up.
But her feet trembled as soon as they touched the ground, and she almost fell over.
Huo Tingzhou quickly reached out and scooped her into his arms in a horizontal embrace, then walked over to the rooftop hot spring and gently placed her inside.
He kissed her forehead: "Don't soak for too long."
Yun Kai nodded: "You go ahead with your work."
Huo Tingzhou set her towel to the side, and as he was about to leave, he suddenly sat back down, gazing at Yun Kai: "You've told me the most important secret in your heart, now let me tell you one of mine, my secret."
Yun Kai looked at him curiously, expectant.
Huo Tingzhou was not one to talk much; ever since he was young, he was always rather silent, which meant he had many secrets.
But as far as he was concerned, those secrets weren't truly secrets, for they were not unspeakable, and if you could tell someone, they couldn't really be counted as real secrets.
