Tear-stained cheeks, my mascara was now an ugly smudge after being ruined with all the crying I had been doing for the past hour. I could not recognize myself as I looked through the mirror. The more I stared at myself the more the tears. I could hear them in the next room. Their moans enraged me and made me feel like throwing up. I retched but nothing came out. 

Disgust is what I felt.


My life had turned out to be a chaotic mess and I wondered what I had done to deserve all that. I was a good person or so I believed.

I smiled through the pain and thought to myself that everything was going to be okay. I did not believe that myself but I had to tell myself to keep going or I would be stuck in a loop with my past trying to set myself free...

Some people often think that they do not deserve love. I do not think we know who deserves to be loved and who does not.

When you always try to prove to others that you are worthy of your love you tend to think that you must act a certain way for someone to love you.

Soffie had never loved someone who loved her back. It was always unrequited love. When things like that happen to you you tend to believe that there is something wrong with you.

Love was supposed to be a beautiful thing that made us happy but somehow we turned it to be the ugliest thing. Just like we humans had ruined everything we did the same to it.

They say for a girl to know how to love properly they had to be loved first by their father. That he would teach her things and that is not what I had been taught.

He made me hate men. I despised them so much that there was nothing that could make me fall in love with a man.
