Tear-stained cheeks, my mascara was now an ugly smudge after being ruined with all the crying I had been doing for the past hour. I could not recognize myself as I looked through the mirror. The more I stared at myself the more the tears. I could hear them in the next room. Their moans enraged me and made me feel like throwing up. I retched but nothing came out. 

Disgust is what I felt.


My life had turned out to be a chaotic mess and I wondered what I had done to deserve all that. I was a good person or so I believed.

I smiled through the pain and thought to myself that everything was going to be okay. I did not believe that myself but I had to tell myself to keep going or I would be stuck in a loop with my past trying to set myself free...

DAWN.

I believe we were responsible for our misfortunes. Sometimes we knew something bad was going to happen but we assumed it.

Mainly it was because we always hang on to the little hope that things might practically go the way we thought they would.

I had never been a person who acted on impulse or anything but most of the things that went to shit in my life we because of me.

Sometimes I knew something and just hoped that in another universe it was not like that. That some magic would happen and it would be the way I wanted it to be.

Magic didn't exist though. So most of the time I just suffered because I chose to believe in fate.

Hugho knew what he was doing was wrong. Anyone who we what he was found knew that it was wrong. It didn't matter that Alexa didn't know.
