But I hate blood! 19

It grew awkward afterwards. No one knew what to say or do and continuing flirting wasn't an option either. Avina didn't know where to look, but it definitely wasn't at Richard. Richard knew exactly who to look at and it definitely wasn't the ground.

So out there in the night cold were 2 people. One person staring straight at the ground with her lips pursed, and the other staring at the person looking at the ground with a laughing expression. Finally, it was Richard who broke the silence.

"Has Livida been treating you well?" he asked.

Richard has several of his men planted within Livida's life, but of course, their third person point of view would be different from someone who was close to her.

Avina wrinkled her brow at his question. She didn't know what to exactly explain because she didn't know what to say. Livida didn't hurt her, but her actions didn't feel deep either. It wasn't kindness for kindness, it was kindness for a motive.
