Ji Fanyin sat in her room, her eyes gazing emptily at her surroundings. Since she was a prime suspect, she wasn't allowed to go out of her room. Outside her doors were two guards keeping track of her.
Unlike other's expectations, she was calm. Her back was ramrod straight and her lips flat. Her eyes didn't reveal a flick of emotions.
"Jie jie," Ji Xinrui whispered. Unlike her sister, she couldn't keep calm.
Ji Xinrui paced around the room. Each round, her steps would grow faster until it was as if she was running.
She bit her nails from nervousness and her eyes were trembling. Ji Xinrui lifted her head and looked at her calm sister. "Why are you so calm, jie jie? What if they lock us up?"
"Xinrui," Ji Fanyin lightly said, "We are not guilty."
Ji Xinrui flinched. Her eyes darted around, and she was feeling even more anxious. She pursed her lips and rushed to Ji Fanyin's side.
