Since the food was shared between the three of them, it didn't take long before they were done with it all.
Alistair stroked his belly. It was neither empty nor full. "I should've brought more food. I thought it'd be enough for the two of us."
Avina glanced at 5025. Well, of course, it wasn't enough. After all, there were three bellies to fill, not two.
Alistair stood up and started clearing the table. "I have a meeting later today. I can't pick you up so you'll have to call our driver to pick you up."
Avina helped him clean the table. "I don't want to bother him. I can just have a friend drive me back."
"Danny?" Alistair asked. His eyebrow lifted somewhat and he gave her a look.
Avina wasn't thinking about Danny at first, but now, Alistair had reminded her. Her eyes shifted to the right and she grumbled, "Do I not have any other friends?"
