Kim Hyejin grew up with her mother and her mother's family, and since she was a toddler, she has always been interested in figure skating. Deciding from young that she wanted to be a figure skater, Kim Hyejin began to train to become the Queen of figure skating in the country just like her idol.
In the early stage of her career as a young figure skater, her mother got married and left her behind. The little Kim Hyejin was shaken for a long while before recovering and decided to channel all her energy into her favorite sport.
In the long run, she meets Ahn Yejun again who she met on some occasions when she was a child. Ahn Yejun loved her and got her to be his fake girlfriend for a while before she cut off thighs with him.
Later, Kim Hyejin reunites with Ahn Yejun after winning the gold medal and becoming an Olympian. But in other to get back with Ahn Yejun after discovering that she loves him, she must first take down Areum who happens to be her...

"Since I found out my son had a child, I was excited and immediately asked about the child, but he delayed in giving me a response. At last, when I found out you were the one, I was overwhelmed with joy. The reason I wanted to see you, it's for you to join our family, but know that's absurd. I want to pass my cosmetics company over to you." Old Lady Kim said and remained quiet with her gaze fixed on Kim Hyejin while waiting for her reaction.

Kim Hyejin scoffed. "Why would you want to pass the company you worked so hard to build over to me?."

"It's because you're my descendant, and I trust you." Old Mrs. Kim said.
