" Here we are Madame. The motel"

"Thank you so much sir"

Daehyun and I got out of the taxi and the driver helped us get our luggage out of the trunk. I paid the driver and we said our goodbyes while we entered the motel.

  "Annyeonghaseyo, Welcome to Desirèè, How was your flight if I may ask?" a really beautiful lady with pale skin and a wide some asks us.

  "Ah- it was good. Kalmasseumnida (Thank you). Can I book a room?"

"Ne (Yes). How many?

  "Just one but with two beds please"

    "Sure. Will you like to make the payment now or when you are checking out"

     "Checking out please"

     "Give me a minute" the receptionist says while she enters something into a computer.

"Here's your card. The the third room on your left. Ground floor"

  "Kalmasseumnida ( Thank you)" I say to her and give her a smile. She smiles right back at me

Our motel room wasn't your typical motel room. It was beautiful. The beds were neatly made and the room had this nice flowery fragrant. The natural light coming from the windows made the room soo bright. I honestly think it is more of a hotel than a motel. Daehyun dropped the bags near the bed and laid down on it. I laid down next to him and saw him crying.

  "Oh my God Daehyun, why are you crying"

    "I-I don't know. This just doesn't seem real. I mean what if-"

     "No what ifs"

     "But"

     "No buts Daehyun. This is us now. I struggled for us to be here. I know what you're thinking. My dad is not going to harm us. I'm always here for you" I said tears streaming down my face while I hugged him tightly. He hugged me back,our tears flowing on each others backs. This moment is one I will cherish forever

After our heart warming moment yesterday, I started my search for an apartment and luckily for me I found one right away. We could move in as soon as we made a down payment and that is why we are meeting with the owner of the building today. For some weird reason I was having this unexplainable feeling in my heart. I was getting the chills. I felt there was something life changing going to happen.

"Oh my God Daehyun, would you hurry up already. Do you want us to create a bad first impression. I need the owner of the building to think we're worthy of the apartment, I heard he's a real pain in the ass"

    "I'm coming eomma!"

Daehyun comes out of the bathroom with a toothbrush and toothpaste in his hands. I couldn't believe it

     "Are you kidding me! You're now brushing your teeth"

     "Stop panicking eomma. I'm putting it away. I'm ready. Let's go"he says with a smile on his face

     "Huh, jeez. Thank God"

I grab my purse, lock our room door and we leave the motel.

25 minutes later ........

"Sir please can't you go any faster. We have to meet someone urgently"

  "I'm going as fast as I can madame" the driver says and murmurs a cuss word under his breath.

     "Excuse me sir, did you just cuss me out"

   "Calm down eomma. I'm sure we're almost there. please take a deep breath."

I take in a deep breath and looked out the window. I'm probably overreacting but I don't want us to stay in a motel forever. I just want us to live a normal happy life,drama free.

  "We are here Madame"

   "Finally! Here's your money. Keep the change" I said semi screaming while banging the door of the taxi. I was freaking out more than ever before.

Daehyun and I walked to the the apartment building and approached the receptionist. The apartment building was extravagant, with modern architecture. The interior design was even better. The technology in there was beyond my imagination. I just loved it. The receptionist had this look on her face that showed us that we were doomed and not needed in here

     "Annyeonghaseyo (Hello). Jeoneun Aera ieyo (My name is Aurora) I'm here to meet the owner of the building"

      "Ah- yes - yes. Let me call his office"

The receptionist calls his office with a wide smile on her face, I instantly felt jealous for no reason as she makes small talk before directing us to the office.

  "Eomma I'm so hungry. Like I need food in my tummy right now. We didn't even stop for break-"

   "Dagchyeo (Quiet)" I hush Daehyun,knock and open the door to the office. I had a flashback of my first day in college in that split second. I couldn't explain what I was feeling.

We see a man who I assume is the building owner facing a window with a mug in his hands.

    "You're late miss, you know I don't have all day" the man says still facing the window. I got the chills from this morning again when I heard his voice.

     "It  wasn't our intention Sir. We were stuck in a traffic jam and our taxi driver was being a pain in the ass, I told him to speed up but he couldn't do much, the traffic was so much. I assure you, we are worthy of the apartment. I promi_" and just like that time froze. There I was, staring at those green eyes, those green eyes I've longed for for all these years.

  The mug leaves his hand and a loud crushing sound snaps me out my trance.

        "Aera"
