Chaos at its prime

The execution ground.

"Now let it be made known!"

The king started, his voice high and his eyes keen on the crowd spread behind the four men tied to different poles. The men were tied in the middle of the parties. A seeming interval between the group of royalties and the crowd.

The murmurs of the populace were tucked under the waves of silence after the words of the king came. The king didn't keep them waiting.

"These men have done that which had never been done in our land. That which would never be done because they would serve as important examples to those who would deem it fit to tread in their direction."

The king paused again letting the peace spread and the words echo. His eyes picked each of the four men one after the other. All he was interested in were the expressions on their faces. Whether or not they were remorse.
