Confrontation

Ryu's POV

I ripped off a piece of duct tape and wrapped a couple wires together.

"Okay, I did that part and I also wired everything." I whispered to myself

It was night time and Aneko and Aragorn were sleeping on the couch, Aneko was sleeping in a weird position and I found it funny. Aragorn was just sleeping with his arms crossed and his snoring was deep but pretty quiet.

I began typing a few things on the computer just to make sure I had the coding right. I began taking out some batteries and installing them into the box I made so far. I took out a blueprint I drew out and began doing the math all over again.

'Shit, that's not right.'

I used a screwdriver and carefully took out the hardware from inside the box and using a needle I carefully corrected something on it. I was shaking and sweating a lot that my shirt was drenched.

'I should have continued reviewing my notes even after joining the MVA.'

But thinking about the time I joined the MVA made me remember the very first time I saw Demon. When she and some other Ryu crashed into the library and was killed, how I bumped into her and all that shit but that led to the day she betrayed me for Aiden, her dead boyfriend.

'Fuck...'

I decided to get it out of my head but I heard a door creak open. I looked at the door and it was opening by itself like what happens in a horror movie but I knew who it was.

"Why are you here?" I asked

No response, so I sighed and got up and opened the door which lead to a staircase in the basement. I went down into the dark basement and I couldn't see anything but then I heard metal clanking and then I saw a small fire light up.

"You're pissing me off." I called out

Demon looked up at me and summoned fire into her hand lighting up the basement. She had a cigarette in her mouth and she looked, almost sad.

"Ryu, please stop what you're doing." she said

I scoffed and put my hands on my hips and looked around the basement and grabbed the first thing I saw and threw it at her but she stopped it midair with her telekinesis power.

"How could you deceive me?" I asked, "No not deceive, how could you betray me huh?"

She let the thing I threw at her fall onto the floor.

"You're being selfish right now." she said

"Selfish? Am I being selfish? Have you ever even considered talking this out huh?" I asked, "So why WHY?! Why did you fucking do that?!"

"You need to fucking understand you little dipshit." growled Demon

"No you need to understand you fuckhead." I snapped back

That seemed to piss her off but she kept her cool.

"I wish I never met you, I wish you just never loved me in the first place." I said, "The entire time we were dating you never loved me. It was all a fucking lie why? Because you loved that dead fuckboy Aiden."

Demon's eyes widened and then the air just hit me sending me crashing into multiple metal shelves.

"Ryu?!" I heard Aneko's voice from upstairs

Aneko comes down and gasps as Demon grabs me by the neck.

"Well well well, if it isn't Kishimoto's older sister Aneko." said Demon

Aneko lunged towards Demon but she slapped her and Aneko's back crashed into the wall.

"Fuck you and Thunderbird, both of you deserve worse." I groaned, "I'll kill your fucking fuckboy you love so much."

She threw me and I crashed into a desk.

"Sir!"

I looked up and saw Aragorn helping Aneko.

"What the fuck? I thought I killed you." said Demon

'If I use my augmentation here it could destroy the house.'

I slowly got up but without even realizing it I hit the wall again and I was on the floor again.

"Give up Ryu." said Demon

I tried getting up but she stomped her foot on my back pinning me down.

"Fuck you, why did you even come here in the first place? To rub the fact that you have a better boyfriend in my face?" I asked

Demon looked at me and I started to feel miserable.

"Why?" I asked

My eyes began to water a bit so I looked away and closed my eyes.

"Go ahead, kill me. Make your boyfriend proud." I said

Demon stays silent for a few seconds but after a while I felt her remove her foot from my back. I looked up and she was gone leaving me, Aneko and Aragorn alone in the basement.

"Ryu what happened?" asked Izumi as she came down the stairs with Hikari, the tiny girl and Isamu.

"Sorry there was someone here." I replied

"Who? Was it a robber?" asked the short girl

I shook my head.

"Sir Aneko is badly hurt." said Aragorn

I kneeled next to Aneko and she grabbed my arm.

"I can't feel my legs." she whimpered in pain

"Her spine must be broken." I said, "Can you heal her?"

Hikari came and helped Aneko and placed both of her arms on her back.

"Why did she leave?" asked Aragorn

"I don't know and I don't care." I said, "But I know for sure, we're not safe."

"We might have to leave, these people here won't be safe." said Aragorn

"Even if we leave they won't be safe." I replied

"You want to take them?" questioned Aragorn

"I don't know." I replied, "I'm going to talk to them."

I walked over to Isamu.

"Oi can I talk to you and Izumi?" I asked

"Yes of course." he said

"I think it'll be best for us to leave but there was something I should have told you before." I said

I sighed and looked at Aneko.

"I'm not a normal person. You see us three are a wanted fugitive and we were spotted." I said

Isamu kind of freaked out and Izumi backed up.

"I'm not that kind of serial killer shit no I'm not like that." I said

I didn't know how to explain to these people for some reason.

"I'm not from your earth." I said

"W-what do you mean." asked Isamu

"I'm from a different dimension, a multiverse." I said

Isamu's eyes widened and Izumi freaked out.

"You probably don't even believe me but I apologize for not telling you beforehand." I said, "If you want us to leave we'll leave but I can't guarantee that you'll be safe."

Izumi looked at Isamu and he looked scared.

"We'll allow you to stay." said Izumi while smiling

'Why's she smiling.'

"But in exchange you need to protect us and take us with you." said Izumi

"Oh uhh, okay." I replied

"We don't have any weapons so try to figure it out." said Izumi

"Oh weapons right." I chuckled

I extended my arm out and my sword came flying into my hand.

"No need to worry about that." I said

Isamu jumped back when he saw the sword.

"Oi oi calm down no need to worry." I said

"Oh okay." he replied

I approached Aneko who was fully healed.

"You okay?" I asked

"Yea I'm fine." she replied, "We're going to need the passports soon."

"I know I'm working on it." I replied, "Get some rest."

Everyone heads back to their rooms to sleep but Aneko sits down next to me.

"You seemed to hate Demon a lot just now." said Aneko

"I really don't want to talk about it." I said

"Of course you don't want to." she grumbled

She then pats my head which catches me by surprise.

"Good luck with that shit." she said

I watched her sit back on the couch and sleep.

'Did she just, pat my head?'

I rubbed the top of my head then chuckled. I got back to work and began to do work on the printer. I pulled out the formula to make the passport and I began to fill the printer with the things it needs.

I worked on it for another two hours and I was extremely tired to the point where I struggled to open my eyes. I sat back on my chair and rubbed my face.

'Almost done, I just need to plug it.'

I closed my eyes and tried to reach for the power button but my mind shut off and I drifted to sleep.

Demon's POV

I looked at Ryu's mom but she avoided eye contact with me. I picked up their photo album and flipped through images of them but I noticed that not a single photo had a father figure.

"Did you divorce with your husband or something?" I asked

Ryu's mom doesn't respond, she rather just fidgets around pissing me off.

"Oi if I ask you a question then answer." I growled

But she refused to respond so I sighed and slowly began to twist her organs around. She fell off the couch and cried in pain and she squirmed around on the floor.

"I don't want to continue hurting you." I said

I stopped forcing her organs to twist and she relaxed but was still on the floor so I kneeled down and grabbed her hair forcing her to look up.

"Answer my question." I demanded

Ryu's mom nodded so I let go of her hair.

"Ryu, he uhh never had a father figure in his life." she said

I tilted my head in confusion.

"I was uhh raped by his father." she whispered

My eyes widened and it hit my head realizing that I did something that traumatized Ryu's mom to Ryu.

"And he didn't tell me." I whispered to myself

I scoffed in disbelief.

"I was going to talk it out with him since I had a secret, but no he's the one blaming me for having secrets." I laughed

I was slowly getting pissed off. I slowly stood up and walked up the stairs towards his bedroom. I opened the door and it looked simple and plain, he barely had any furniture and barely any clothes in his closet.

I took a seat on his bed and I started to remember the times we were together, I had to admit he was fun but I missed Aiden too much and I wasn't able to get over the fact that he died.

'Ryu Kim, this may be the end between us.'

The next day

Ryu's POV

Someone started to shake me awake making me slowly open my eyes and yawn.

"Wake up."

I sat up and rubbed my eyes and looked up to see Aneko.

"Is it done?" asked Aneko

It took me a while to understand what she was saying so I sat there looking at her like an idiot.

"Oi." she called out

"Huh? Oh the 3D printer, yea I just need to turn the power button on." I replied

I reached over and turned it on and the 3D printer turned in and started printing.

"Ah thank goodness." I sighed in relief

"Okay let's go, the people living here are getting freaky." said Aneko

"Freaky? Oh shit right okay let's go." I said

I went to the bathroom and washed up. Aragorn was already ready as he was wearing his normal civilian clothes.

"Let's go." said Aneko

I grabbed the money and left the house.

"Okay we need to buy things we couldn't buy yesterday." said Aneko, "Boots and some new clothes for you."

"Right." I said

We entered a clothing shop and I began to rummage through some clothes and just grabbed anything that seemed to fit. I grabbed two windbreaker jackets, two sweat pants and some regular Nike Air Force.

"You're not going to get hiking shoes?" asked Aneko

"I will." I replied

I grabbed a pair of hiking shoes and three book bags for each of us to carry.

"Here." I said

They each took one and we exited the shop and we began to walk around and buy a few more things we thought we might need.

"We need a bit more money." I said

I went to an ATM and extracted another $10,000 dollars.

"Isn't that a crime?" asked Aragorn

"Ssshhh." I replied, "No one needs to know."

"Oh right sir, it's just new to me since I'm-"

"Okay okay we get it mr Captain." Aneko mocked Aragorn

"Come on Aneko there's no need to be like that." I replied

Aneko glared at me causing Aragorn and I to back up and hide behind the ATM.

"Show some respect, I'm older than you." said Aneko

"Right sorry." I apologized

"Let's go, I'm hungry." she said

"Oh yea me too." said Aragorn
