Plane

Ryu's POV

"You have to be joking." said Aneko

"I'm not, this will make the security guards check the plane." I said, "She literally looks like a child."

I looked over to Mei who was giving me the pouty face.

"But make sure you say that you tell the guards to check it after everyone boards." I said

Aneko rolled her eyes and Aragorn seemed to be enjoying it but Mei nodded in agreement.

"Isamu remember, you're the father and Izumi is your wife." I said, "Just play along."

They both nodded while smiling except for Isamu who seemed really nervous about it. The rest of us sat down and I nodded towards Mei and she took a deep breath, then the drama started.

Mei started getting childish and crying actual tears and she ran up to a security guard while Isamu and Izumi ran after her. She then hugged a security guard's leg and started babbling things making a whole scene. Hikari seemed to enjoy it but she had a dull face on but Aragorn couldn't stop snickering. Aneko was cringing and so was I, no matter how good you may be at acting anything related to this is always cringy.

The security tried to shake off Mei but she held on and Isamu tried to pry her off of the security guard's leg. A bunch of people were watching and some were even recording.

"Ryu, can you do something about the people who are recording?" asked Hikari

I carefully augmented the electricity in the air and forced all the phones to shut off and everyone recording looked at their phones in confusion and tried to turn it back on.

It looked like it wasn't going the way it wanted to so Izumi suddenly hugged the security guard's arm and began to act all pouty confusing me and the others. But the security guard seemed to slowly fall into our trap so he just nodded and Mei slowly let go and Isamu carried her back. Izumi gave me a thumbs up so I awkwardly gave her a thumbs up back.

"So are we good?" asked Aragorn

"Yea I guess we are." I replied

After a few minutes we began boarding the plane, I looked for my seat and I was sitting on the left side of the plane with Aneko next to the window, me in the middle and Aragorn next to me. The other four were sitting next to us across the aisle and I situated myself in my seat and we waited for the security to finish checking the plane and then the same long procedure started with the belt and manual procedure.

I checked my watch and it'll take 20 hours. I sighed and closed my eyes waiting for us to take off but I felt Aneko nudge me a bit. I looked at her and she stared into my eyes and just the stare made my heart beat fast.

"Is there food on planes?" she asked

"Oh yea, there will be but you're going to have to wait." I replied

"Oh okay, I'm still kind of hungry." she said

I nodded but then Aneko tried to rest her head on the plane but it seemed uncomfortable for her. At first I wasn't really paying attention but she suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me in towards her and she leaned in and rested her head on my shoulder.

"A-Aneko?" I whispered

"Shh, it's comfortable like this." she said

Aragorn looks at me and I just give him the 'it's not what you think' sign. He gives me the okay sign and I just let Aneko lay on my shoulder for a while until the plane gets ready to take off. The plane jerks around a bit and then starts to go faster, when the plane starts to take off we all lean back against the chair and the plane takes off.

After a couple minutes the plane settled at a certain altitude then the seatbelt lights turned off so I took it off and leaned the chair back to sleep. Aneko did the same but this time she puts her entire head on my chest and nuzzles her head on it. Good thing we were in business class I was able to make myself comfortable. Aragorn already knocked out and started sleeping leaving me and Aneko.

"Are you sure you don't want to eat anything before sleeping?" I asked

"No, I think I'll pass, might get motion sickness." she replied

"Oh okay." I said, "I'm going to go to sleep."

"Me too." whispered Aneko

8 hours later

I yawned and opened my eyes and looked around to see mostly everyone on board was asleep. I needed to use the bathroom but I saw that Aneko hasn't moved since the take off so I gently placed her head over just a bit so I could move.

I got up and yawned as I walked down the aisle to use the bathroom but I looked around and everyone was asleep, which was pretty weird to me but I just quickly used the bathroom. I sighed and washed my hands and left the bathroom but then I noticed that my shoes were untied so I bent down to tie them but I saw something flash at the corner of my eye. I looked over through the window and my eyes widened when I saw an angel standing on the wing of the plane.

"No no no don't you fucking-"

The angel then does something and the turbine explodes, jerking the plane, I fall down onto the floor but then something grabs me from up top and throws me. I crashed through the roof of the plane and began falling down in the air.

"OH SHIT!" I yelled in fear

I used my wind augmentation to help me fly but something crashed into me and I was falling faster.

"It's an honor to meet you Ryu Kim!" yelled the angel

"Who the hell are you?!" I asked

"Angel of Words!" he replied

"Well Angel of Words!" I yelled

I grabbed his cloak and brought him in close.

"Let's go for a swim shall we?!" I yelled

I blasted towards the ocean below us. Realizing what I was trying to do, Words tried to pry away from my grip, he punched my face then broke my arm and I screamed in pain but I held on with my other hand. He kicked my stomach forcing me to let go of him but I blasted towards him and rammed myself into him. I wrapped my good arm around him and flew down towards the water, Words kept punching my back and I felt it on the verge of breaking so I let go and I kicked his stomach as hard as I could and he went falling down into the ocean creating a huge splash. I gathered as many lightning bolts in my good arm and blasted it towards Words.

"Water and electricity don't go along." I said to myself

I heard Words scream as he was burning in the water but I didn't stop until he began to turn to dust. I stopped zapping him with lightning and I just fell into the water, I swam back up and sighed but then I gasped remembering the others.

"Aneko, Aragorn..."

I blasted off and used my wind augmentation to help me fly towards the falling plane. I saw that plane up ahead so I blasted there and grabbed the edge of the hole in the plane and began to climb my way inside. Everyone was awake and screaming but when they saw me they all gasped and screamed louder.

I used the wind augmentation and with everything I got I slowed the plane down as it was plummeting down towards the ocean. I used the wind to blow the nose of the plane up so it's horizontal and I used the wind to slow the plane down.

"Brace for impact!" yelled the captain of the plane

I thought about going under the plane but that would make the passengers suspicious about me. So using every ounce of my mind I tried to slow the plane down as much as I could but the plane crashed and water crashed into me causing me to lose grip. I fell back and splashed into the water so I quickly swam up and gasped for air. The plane slowed down a few meters from me so I began swimming towards the plane and watched as all the passengers began to use lifeboats to get off the plane. I coughed a bit as I got on the plane's wing and slowly stood up and looked around. I felt a sheer amount of immense pain in my broken arm, I grit my teeth in pain and clutched it as I looked around.

"Ryu!" called out Aneko

I turned and saw the others on a lifeboat with our bags so I slowly walked towards them since I was pretty tired.

'I must have overused my augmentation.'

Aneko helped me into the lifeboat and she looked really worried.

"What happened?" asked Aragorn

"An angel, he blew up the turbine and pulled me out. He's dead though." I panted

I tried to move my broken arm but it hurt way too much to even move an inch with it.

"My arm's broken." I told Hikari

"I'll heal that." said Hikari

Hikari began to do her magic and I felt the pain in my broken arm cease.

"I'm glad you're okay." said Aragorn, "But now what do we do?"

"Usually when this happens we get another ride." I said

18 hours later

I hated it, we had to wait for the doctors to check us up afterwards when really we kept arguing that we were fine but they said it was part of the procedure. Now we were back on another plane and heading towards India.

"How much longer?" asked Aragorn

"One more hour." I replied

"This day was eventful." sighed Aneko, "I really hope this works out though."

"What are we going to do after getting the Matrix?" asked Aragorn

"As long as he doesn't have it then the multiverse is safe. From there I just have to keep killing the ten angels in order to be a match for Oracle." I replied

"I really hope this works." said Aneko

"Yea I hope so too." I replied

I looked at my watch and began flipping through earths that I once visited.

"What are you doing?" asked Aneko

"Oh just scrolling through a few earths I visited." I replied, "You see this earth I went here twice and they probably know me the best there."

Aneko nodded and tilted her head.

"You haven't visited that many earths." said Aneko

"Yea, I haven't." I replied, "Oh where's your AI?"

"In my bag shut off."

I nodded but then Aragorn snapped his fingers.

"What if Oracle is there when we get there?" asked Aragorn

I haven't thought about that part but I can only really think of one plan.

"I'll infuse the Matrix with me, that way Oracle can't have it." I replied

"You're crazy, that'll kill you." said Aneko, "You won't be able to handle it's powers."

"Aneko's right sir, it'll be suicide." said Aragorn

"I don't have any other plan besides that." I replied

"We'll come up with one soon don't worry." replied Aragorn

"I'm just saying it as a last resort." I said

"What if Oracle gets it first?" asked Aneko

"Then, then we're fucked aren't we." I said, "He'll be the most powerful thing in the entire universe."

"Would killing the ten angels still have an effect on him?" asked Aragorn

"Let's hope it does." I sighed, "But my augmentation has its limits."

"What happens if you pass the limit?" asked Aneko

"That's not possible." I replied

"But there's a beyond limit kind of thing." said Aragorn, "You know maybe a new form."

"Where do you get these ideas?" I asked while chuckling

"Movies." replied Aragorn

Aneko rolled her eyes and I just laughed.

"But have you thought about it?" asked Aragorn

I stopped laughing and began thinking about the outcome.

"If I were to take a guess..." I said as I looked at my hands

I balled them into fists and looked at Aneko then Aragorn.

"I die." I said
