What's Wrong With Him?

Currently, Both Bennet and David were in the living, though... only Bennett was kneeling on the floor.

Sarah had a small white portable fan covering her face while she was looking down on Bennett.

"Bennett, would you mind telling me why you two were training in the courtyard and not the basement?" Sarah smiled with her eyes closed, making her seem condescending.

"I... I haven't seen him for so long, and... I forgot about it... due to the excitement?" Bennett emphasized excitement, making him seem pathetic as a little kitten, looking up at his mother.

"I see. You know the usual punishment, I need to talk with my son David." She waved Bennett away as he ran upstairs sulking.

"What did you need from me, mother?" David asked.

"As your going to be attending the same school as Bennett, you will need to learn noble etiquette, do you understand?" Sarah smiled gently.

"I already knew about that, mother. I will try my best not to dishonor the family." David politely stated.

"Good. I will arrange a teacher starting tomorrow. You will be in the study room over there." Sarah pointed to a room.

"Yes, mother." David replied.

"Great! Remember, dear, whenever you go to train, please do it in the basement, there is more than enough space and it's strong enough to withstand our training, not to mention yours." Sarah placed the fan on the table and smiled again.

She took out a paper... from who knows where, and gave it to David, "Well here's the schedule you'll be following for the month before you attend the school"

"Yes, mother." He replied again, receiving the paper.

'Mn, mn! David is so much better than Bennett who causes trouble all day!' she praised in her mind.

David went back to his room to look at the schedule, so right now, only Sarah was in the living room.

Sarah went to the entrance to the mansion after seeing that the two servants were back from their trip.

"You have all of the items?" She asked.

"Yes, madam." The two servants had four bags of materials as listed.

Checking the items in the bag, she nodded. "Good, you've done a great job, you may have a day off tomorrow."

"Thank you madam." the two bowed before excitedly going to their dormitory.

**(David's Room)**

He was currently looking at his schedule... in slight displeasure.

'It's literally taking most of my day! Hmph!' He complained.

'Maybe... I should just abuse my skills to make this month-long program into a week-long one?' He nodded, he did need as much training so that he wouldn't fall behind the top students when he entered the same school as Bennett.

For the schedule, it was only etiquette class with Mr. Cunningham, from 10 am to 11 am, then 3 pm to 6 pm, after that, it was free time for him. Seeing that there were some time gaps, he wanted to see why there was such a gap at noon to mid-afternoon.

"Am I going to be training with mother? It doesn't seem like a father will have much time after tomorrow." David had asked the system about the times here and confirmed with Bennett that yes, the entire world is much larger than Earth, but times were still the same. 24 hour days, 7 days in a week, 365.25 days in a year, all that stuff.

Suddenly hearing a knock on the door, he opened it only to see Sarah with four large reusable bags full of items in her hand.

"I've gotten all the school and tutoring materials for you!" She almost shoved the bags to David.

"T-thank you, mother, I will study diligently." He smiled back at her, making her hug him, touching cheeks.

"You're so cute, you know that David? I almost can't bear to train you so harshly..." Sarah complained as she kept rubbing their cheeks together.

"Its... its alright, mother, but I need to organize these items." David made up an excuse so he wouldn't need to directly tell her to stop.

"Ah, right! I'll be taking care of your father then..." Sarah waved as she ran gracefully down the hallway, entering her room.

Leaving the hallway, he went back to his room to see four bags full of different items. There were notebooks, stacks of paper which were bonded by a thin string that seems to be enhanced by magic, writing utensils such as brushes, and pencils, a large space pouch that took up a whole bag, and some textbooks.

'Wait... is this expensive or not? I don't recall seeing white paper anywhere... where did they buy this?' From the few days of experience he had in Bale city, most things were written in those old and brown papers, excluding his documents, which was actually a scroll.

He placed them all on his desk, organized them cleanly, with stacks of notebooks, 2 stacks of textbooks, he placed the stack of papers on one of the shelves next to him, and the writing utensils onto the small can next to him.

'{Apprisal}!' David wanted to see some secrets of the pouch in front of him. Just because it could be explained by saying 'space magic' or something like that doesn't really mean too much.

"That's pretty good... I can use this as an excuse for a lot of stuff..." David looked at the satchel in front of him, smiling.

"Ben? Ben! What's wrong?" He heard a yell from the other room

**(Sarah's Room)**

Currently, Ben was still sleeping, but now, he had a pale face and was hyperventilating. His brows were furrowed, frowning and he moved frantically in his sleep. In this condition, both Sarah and Bennett were worried.

*Knock Knock*

"...Come in!" Sarah calmed down hearing the knock on the door.

David walked in, seeing Ben who was obviously suffering, his expression fell.

"What wrong with father?" David closed the door and rushed to Ben's side.

"W... we don't know, half an hour ago, he was fine but suddenly turned pale." Bennett nervously explained.

'Is it because of the backlash of updating my bloodline was passed onto him?' David did remember only feeling warmth instead of the pain of his body changing.

Sarah was still silent, staring at her husband.

"Bennett, David." She started, "Please take care of him, I will take care of his work and make sure that news of this doesn't spill." She nodded at them and left the room.

"Understood, mother..." The replied, looking back at Ben after she left.

Bennett looked at David, "Is there anything you can do?" he asked.

"Depends, what's his condition? I can try to see if I can cure him." he didn't make any promises.
