"Hah... hah... hah... Damn!" Feil's frustrated voice rang inside the building.
"Brother, please stop, you've nearly spent all of your daily credits already." Elizebeth anxiously reminded.
"Ugh... alright, fine, let's go back then." he took a deep breath and nodded.
Some other students who had also found out about this place had left as they had also begun to reach the limit of their expenses.
"Man... I was so close to beating those ugly goblins!"
"Well, I can tell'ya, slimes are much more annoying."
"There's much more than just goblins and slimes for practicing, though."
"But... I don't like bugs..."
"Yeah, me neither."
They could see someone jogging here in the distance, with David in the front and Bennett in the back, obviously, David was holding back so he wouldn't leave his brother in the dust.
"Oh! Hey, Feil. You're training here too?" Bennett peeked his head.
"Y-yeah... I want to get stronger, and this is a great way to do it since I can't go anywhere outside of the academy right now." he smiled wryly.
"Oh! What do you guys recommend then? There's quite a bit of everything in the arena." David spoke.
"Well... doing a bit of everything should help. Just go with your gut!" Feil shrugged.
'His condition was quite serious... and to regenerate so quickly. Is he even human?' he thought.
"Alright, seems like you two were on your way back to the dorms, see you later then!" David smiled, pulling Bennett into the building.
The two enter the building and disappear into the 'virtual' world.
"Hey! Bennett, you there?"
"Yeah! Where are you?"
"Over here!" he waved.
They found each other after a few minutes of looking around and went on co-op mode.
"When did you find out about this?" he asked.
"Well, considering how the menu doesn't count as game time, I just explored it a bit more and found it." David shrugged.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah! Come on! Carry me!" Bennett threw his hands up in the air.
"Ew... no, I didn't mean it like that..." David stepped away with slight disgust on his face.
"Of course I know what you mean..." Bennett laughed awkwardly.
'Though it would be great if you carried me like before...' Bennett thought to himself.
"Come on. Prepare yourself. Since I'm carrying you, we're going to tier 3 right away." David pressed play, bringing them to a white room.
"Wait. Tie-"
*Woosh*
"Tier three? Didn't you just evolve? Wouldn't it be hard to... fight them off by yourself while carrying me?" Bennett asked in concern.
"Don't worry... this'll help me train as well. Challenges and losses are needed to grow after all." David replied.
He pressed a few buttons, but ultimately settled for a randomized map. His only reasoning was, "Well... you've got to be prepared for anything, even if it doesn't really happen here."
*Woosh*

As it was late, there were tons of people leaving and returning back to their dorms. The only people that were left are Feil, Elizebeth, Sam, Hana, and Kyle.
"How'd you guys do? I almost finished everything..." Kyle asked, breaking the silence.
"Well... I didn't do too well, I only got a few monsters before I died in there." Hana replied.
"I barely completed it." Sam sighed.
"I-um... brother Feil and I were able to clear it..." Elizebeth shyly spoke up.
Seeing her shy expression, everyone had relaxed to make her less nervous, "Mn. It would be better if you learn some more spells so you could explore on your own safely." everyone nodded in agreement.
"Anyway... how long does everyone think he'll last?" they looked at the world which was forming before their eyes.
"Depends on the monster. Though... I trust that he'll be able to kill everything before the time runs out." Feil drank from his cup.
"Agreed, he was able to last so long against Mr. Gluri, he must be strong!" Hana smiled brightly.
The five students looked at the screen and even started betting about how well David and Bennett were going to do.

*Ding!*
'Seems like the world is finally generated." David opened his eyes.
Beside him, appeared a wild Bennett!
Seeing him opening his eyes, he yelled, "Hurry up! Pick up your weapon."
[The Host and User are being watched from outside the building! There is no malicious intent present...]
'What? Why didn't it say the same thing last time then?' David furrowed his brows.
He soon realized who was outside, 'So it looks like they stayed...' David looked to his left, seeing a small device that was floating around.
Hearing David's voice, Bennett snapped out of his daze and looked at the weapons in front of him.
"You take the sword, I'll take the gauntlet." David ordered.
"Yes sir!" he saluted with a smile on his face.
"Let me warn you, I won't carry you like how you expected. You might have to buy yourself some time for me to come to you." David stared at Bennett seriously.
Feeling the change in the atmosphere, he nodded seriously, grabbed the sword... and hid behind David.
On the other hand, David was putting on his gloves and revealed his claws, "Ready?" David glanced at him.
"Ready!" He replied.
'Start the match' he ordered.
