They What?

*Whoosh~*

'Ugh... those brain mush feelings still there... so annoying.' David held his head.

When they felt a difference in the aura in the air, everyone opened their eyes.

"Hah... we're finally back!" Bennett stretched his hands upward.

David looked at the faces of everyone beside him. Before, they could be described as just some children with skill, even though they didn't use any trap tactics, they did go head to head with the enemy and completed the mission.

Now, they looked more mature, not necessarily an adult, but more of an experienced young adult.

"Mn. You guys definitely look more reliable now... as expected of the elites of the elite." David nodded to himself.

*Twitch~*

Hearing his words, everyone's lips had twitched.

We're going to take that as a compliment, and not an insult to our past selves...

When they left the building, it was still in the afternoon, but just a bit darker. Around three hours had passed since they went in, but it was more than enough time to send information to the office.

.

**(Office)**

.

In the office, there were always people there. They would actively observe what happened around the school.

There's a whole underground system that had several dozens of staff constantly observing. Whether it'd be where students go, what happens in class, or what happens in the virtual training area, they had it all... as long as it was within their barrier.

Like any system, there are also small departments, some look at certain buildings like the cafeteria, sometimes the students can get riled up. Others look at the roads through the camera functions the flying disc has.

Currently, one of the staff members responsible for observing the events that happen in the virtual arena suddenly got a green 'completed' screen in one of the scenario exercises.

"What? A group of seven students cleared a classic scenario on hard mode?"

He jumped from his seat, surprising his co-workers next to him.

One of them walked up to him, "What's going on? What happened, Tom?"

Tom, a regular staff worker. He has curly brown hair, brown eyes, a thin, but tall build, around 6'1. Other than that, the only thing worth noting was that he had a ring on his left hand, indicating that he's married.

Hearing the commotion, everyone popped their head out of their own cubical to see what was going on?

With the presence of mana in this world and the technology they have now if there really was something bad happening, then an alarm would've sounded by now, which is why they were so calm.

"Is something the matter, Tom?" The boss in front of his cubical asked again.

Tom held a small folder in his hands, "Boss. Th-there was a notification just now. A few first-year students have completed a realistic difficulty scenario!" He shouted.

"What!?" Everyone in the room shouted at once.

"Which one was it? And which students are they?" The boss looked at the folder in Tom's hands.

Tom pointed to the paper that was still being written by the machine, "Sire... they're still being written."

A few seconds later...

"Its don-"

before Tom could even start reading what's on the paper, his boss had already taken it from his hands, slightly trembling.

"... Hobgoblins... First years... seven people... recommended class..." The boss muttered while staring at the report.

He then looked up to see that everyone was staring at him, "What are you all doing!? You! Take this and bring it to the high ups!" He grabbed the folder from Tom, shoving the report to someone else in the room.

"A-ah! Yes, right away, sire!"

The staff member immediately started running in a panic.

Tom and the others had barely seen the boss so surprised, after all, this is an academy where all sorts of 'geniuses' would study, so once a while there would be a heaven-defying genius.

Yet... they've never seen him act like that even when those 'geniuses' were at the school either.

**(Vice-Headmaster's Office)**

.

Luke's office wasn't far from the teacher's offices.

His office was very humble, like almost any other teacher, with some slightly more luxurious items in the room here or there.

He was currently taking a break as classes had finally ended and his paperwork was finished for the day.

*Knock Knock Knock~*

Luke looked curiously at the door, "Come in."

In his eyes, he saw a sweating lower class staff member enter the room with a folder in his hands.

"V-vice headmaster, sorry to intrude during your break, but we have something important that you should take a look at it yourself." The staff member stiffly placed the folder in front of his desk.

'Ugh... more work...'

Luke smiled calmly, "Thank you, you may leave now." He waved.

"Y-yes, vice headmaster." He bowed before leaving.

Luke kept his gaze on the door for a second, then looked down at the folder.

The folder had no tab, or anything decorative, so he couldn't guess what was in it.

Luke sighed and opened the folder. A few pages of papers were in the folder, like a report.

However, that wasn't what caught his eye. Luke saw a large red font in the middle of the front page, which had [Important Notice] on it.

Flipping through that page, he looked to see what was so important.

The first few words that caught his eye again were hobgoblin subjugation, seven students, first years, and completed.

"They what!?" He shouted without thinking.

He looked at the report again and saw that he wasn't hallucinating at all.

"Recommended class... extra goblins, yadiyadiyadiya..." Luke skimmed.

"As expected, it's them..."

He looked at the seven names in the report. Obviously, it was David's future party!

"Heh... seems like I underestimated them... well, David alone could've taken them out probably, but the others... that's a surprise as well." Luke stared at the statistics.

David killed six hobgoblins, Kyle and Elizebeth killed two, Bennett and Feil each killing one. The others had the word, assisted on the right of their names.

"Guess we'll have to change some things for them..." Luke smiled, his eyes revealing a mysterious glint.
