Awaking

As I woke up in a daze, I saw that the house I once knew was different than what I imagined. It looked like someone or something came and destroyed the inside. I tried to get up and walked to the door to only see my neighborhood in a calamity. The neighborhood was more than trashed. Everyone has been turned to ash or crush by stuff like cars or houses or trees. The only thing I can see was a roach crawling. At first, I got spooked, but then ran as I saw it from 7 feet. Soon after I hid by a car, I started to feel very sleepy and passed out on the ground.

Soon after I woke up again, I grab my head and got up from a cold, silver bed. Only to be greeted by two female scientists. I look at both of them only to notice that I was completely naked. "Hello Kallin Vanity." Said the third scientist coming in with his assistant. Her hair was white and skin of a greyish brown look. I went up to him as he handed a pair of pants and a black T-shirt. I look at him as I put it on. "Where am I?" I asked.

"Good question." He replied. "I am Doctor Delsino Grey. You are in my lab in Domino City. "It all hit me at once but then came to me together.

"You're the one that created that blast?" I said.

"No I wasn't." He said. "I was the one who try to control it. A demon was the one that came for the shard and destroyed our city. You see, I been studying demons and demonoids. They are links between demons and humans. And you are one of them."

I was shock to what he said. "How am I a demonoid?" I said, and at that moment, I saw my hand look demonic. "Wow, how..."

"I told you." He interrupt. "You are a demonoid. Just like Tiana Tanner."

"Tiana...is that you?" I questioned. She then smiled and nodded. I then ran outside the door and seen only a prison containing demons in every shape and form and size. "These are more demonoids we found. We brought them here to study them." Said Dr.Grey. "Please let me study you." 

"What!" I said, looking at everyone. Why was i asked to be studied on. Then Dr.Grey pointed at my arm. "It's because of that arm you have protected you from the explosion that was caused by the Hell gate."

Hours later, as Tiana and Dr.Grey put me in large tube, I can only think about if my mother. She died, my neighbors died. Everyone i know died. To be honest, somehow I can live with this. Then Tatiana said something I never thought she would say. "Take it off." She demanded. I did what she said as she attached different wires around my body. They turn on the machine as I got worried. "Brace yourself Kallin." For a moment, nothing happens. Then my arm began to glow. The glow was just like the on in my dreams and it was amazing how bright it was. The glass started to break glow gotten bright. "Dr.Grey, I'm sorry." I said, rushing to get my clothes and putting them back on. I then seen on my phone that I had a missed call from an unknown number. "Dr.Grey, is there any possibility that other people can be alive. That thought clouded the room.

Hours later, after I persuade Dr.Grey to let me search for any survivors, I walked outside the lab into ground zero. Crap it's like the day after tomorrow was today. Most of the stores were destroyed beyond repair. Some stores had some items with little damage. I called out to see if I could find someone out here i can rescue. Then came a strange creature. At first I thought it was a bat, but as it got closer it was a demon. Immediately without hesitation, I ran. Running and jumping over cars and buses was a sure way to get away from it. But then i was cornered when I got to a dead end. As I stared down with the demon it dive straight towards me. I was scared and panicked until i found a gun. It was already filled and loaded. I aimed it for the demon head and shot it towards the demon head as it exploded. "Yuck!" I screamed as I was covered in demon's blood. Werid thing is that it smelled like McDonalds. I don't even like McDonalds and now i gotta kill demons whos blood smell like it, gross. Then out of nowhere, I see a another demon circling a car. Normally I would just run away but i can't run from this. What if there's someone there. My body was already moving towards the demon before i can even think it. I wanted to leave but I fired another bullet and clipped it wings. Then finished it eith a headshot. The car door swung open and out pops a beautiful girl with long black hair. "Thanks for saving me." She said. "For a minute there, I thought you was gonna leave me there." 

 "To be honest, i was thinking about it." I respond. The she pushed me just to look at my arm. "Holy shit, your a demon too?" I looked at her and then my arm as i covered it. "And if i am?" Questioning her. "You see, i studied everything on demons and how to fuse their power into weapons. I even made that gun. Its called Dead Stinger." And then the perfect idea came to me. "Lets team up." I said. "You make the weapons and I will kick some demon ass." She thought about for a brief moment and nodded her head as she held out her hand "I'm Cece Jones, and you are?" I shook her hand sealing the deal. "Kallin Vanity."
