Chapter 10: Learning More About The World

Alex walked out of Nonko's room with a tired expression. In the end, he reluctantly agreed to help Nonko for her reference materials.

Using his Magic Sense, Alex searched the entire city to find where his daughter is.

He found her, along with the others eating on Mgronalds, it seems like they were about to return.

"Hm?" Alex raised an eyebrow when he "saw" the ghost Yuuna and Alsiel look around when his Magic Sense went passed them.

'I expected Alsiel to sense it, but Yuuna? Well, I shouldn't actually be surprised.' Alex knew just how strong Yuuna is as he finished reading the Yuragi-sou manga.

A "Transcendental" being, they are beings who's spiritual powers are simply monstrous, they can easily destory towns and cities.

And Yuuna can be considered as one of the strongest Transcendental, especially with her spells. If Alex were to measure the strength of a Transcendental, then he'd say they're as strong as a Clan Leaders and Clan Elders of Demon Race.

Their strength are just below the Demon Generals. Though he guessed that there might be some Transcendentals who can compete with his Generals.

'As for Nonko...' Alex looked at Nonko's room with a pondering expression, 'If she drank a thousand bottles of alcohol, then she'd probably be a bit of a challenge for the original Satan, especially with her Spirit Armor.'

Nonko, is, after all a member of Yoinozoka Family, one of the strongest Family in the country.

'Though, I don't know much about this world because its a cross over, some things might be a bit different than the Manga, so I need to investigate.'

He remembered—when he used Magic Sense, that he saw a bunch of books and scrolls from the landlady's storehouse, where she put everything she has collected there.

Alex couldn't but laugh when he remember all the things that were put there. All those perverted games and weird spiritual artifacts.

But even though those items were weird, Alex had to admit that they were pretty well made. Especially since a lot of them are a Sub-Space that will suck anyone inside that played around with those.

Shrugging, Alex immediately teleported himself in front of the storehouse.

He did not need the Space Magic from the Age of Gods to teleport, because Satan has a lot magic spells he learned and teleport is one of them.

Observing the storehouse in front him, Alex can feel a powerful bounded field surrounding it. He was sure that even the original Satan at his peak won't be able to force his way in.

Touching it, Alex immediately knew how it was made, and he was impressed. Because this bounded field is something he couldn't replicate without the use of Age of Gods magic.

"A 33-layered Bounded Field huh? Damn, I can only make up to 3 layers. I read from the wiki that the landlady's age is unknown, but estimated to be older than the world. I guess she doesn't just sleep during that time."

'The landlady sure is terrifying huh? Not to mention her, even her niece is strong enough to force Gabriel and his army to retreat.'

In the manga, when Gabriel saw the niece of landlady, he did not even think of fighting her and immediately chose to leave in fear of provoking her.

While it took Satan, Alsiel, Emilia, and Chiho to even make Gabriel consider a temporary retreat. And at that point, Satan and Alsiel already recovered their magic, Emilia fused with Alas=Ramus and Chiho was given another Yesod Fragment.

"Oh well, not like it matters to me." Indeed, he wasn't afraid of the landlady, but he sure as hell don't want to fight her.

Because if they did, this world might be in danger.

"This bounded field only "rejects" anyone who wasn't affiliated to the Yuragi Inn," Alex nodded a few times, "No wonder that raccoon girl was able to get in and even take a few items."

Alex step forward, the bounded field just rippled, but did not stop him from entering.

Opening, Alex was immediately greeted by a large space. There are tables, chairs, bookshelves, and various things that were neatly arranged inside.

"The storehouse is much larger inside than the outside...so its sub-space huh?"

However, he wasn't really that interested in this sub-space, the one he made earlier is of much higher level.

He went to the nearest bookshelf and took one book, patting it lightly to rid it off the dusts.

"Exorcist Guide for dummies Volume 1? Huh? Books like this actually exists?"

Shaking his head, he put the book down in where he took it. He wasn't interested in being an exorcist.

He then took the book beside it, "Exorcist Guide for dummies Volume 2. Just how many volumes does this book have?"

He continue searching for some useful books, but groaned when the entire bookshelf turned out to be for exorcism.

He moved towards the next bookshelf, and found a book that greatly captured his interest.

"Hollow."

'Is this what I think it is?' Alex went towards the nearest chair he found before cleaning it and sat down.

Satisfied, he began to read.

"Hollows are a race of creatures which are born from Human souls who, for various reasons, do not move on to After Life after their death and stay in the Human World for too long."

Alex was now sure that hollows he was thinking and the hollows here are one and the same. 'But its strange, it did not mention Soul Society but After life. Is there no Soul Society here? Let's read for now.'

"They are corrupt spirits with supernatural powers which devour the souls of both living and deceased Humans. Hollows settle in Hell, but can cross over to the Human World to eat."

"This part didn't mention Soul Society either, and it also didn't mention anything about Hueco Mundo but Hell. What's going on? And if there are really hollows here then shouldn't they be attracted to come here in Yuragi inn? This place is rich of spiritual energy and a powerful ghost." Alex frowned.

"Hollows can be born from a normal spirit or ghost, that stayed in the human world for too long to fulfill a certain goal or due to regrets. The process of spirits turning into Hollows are somewhat slow and can take years, but can be accelerated with external factors."

Alex frowned, he already knew all of these stuffs from the Anime. But he read anyway, and he became even more frustrated, because everything that this book told was already known by him.

With an annoyed face, he flip to the last few pages, and there he finally saw something interesting.

"Gotei 13?" with an expectant look, he began to read. "Gotei 13 is an Organization that focuses on hunting Hollows and make them move on to the after life. Its one of the Three Great Forces who rivaled the Three Great Families in power and influence."

Alex paused, "The Three Families should be the Yoinozuka, Tenku, and Yatahagane, but I don't know anything about this Three Great Forces. Is Chuuma Ninjas one of them? No, I doubt it. Before Sagiri, none of them even produced a Transcendental level Ninja."

"The Gotei 13 is an organization who focused their spiritual powers to form a Spirit Weapon, contrary to others who forms a Spirit Armor."

Alex continue to read more, and he was actually surprised on how similar yet different the Gotei 13 from this world is to one in Bleach, he wanted to know more, but the book already ended. Without wasting any more time, he put the book back pick another one.

This time, it was about the Gotei 13 and Three Great Forces. Grinning, he immediately opened the book, only find that its blank.

His cheeks twitched, "OH COME ON!? This cliché setting? Right when the MC was about to find out about something important, this always happen! If not blank pages, then ripped pages, or blurry pages! Argh! So annoying!"

He was about to continue searching for some info, but felt that Alice and the rest are about to return, so with a sigh he left the storehouse.

'I'll come back here later, my daughter is more important.'
