CHAPTER 7: FINDING DEREK

Alex: "GUYS STAY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER I THINK WE HAVE BERSERKERS ON OUR HANDS"

Stiles: "What are Berserkers."

Alex: "I will explain to you later now get back to fixing that car because even if I can take down a dozen of them the problem is that, if I am doing that I can't protect you guys."

Malia: "There's something there." as she says that she runs off to the hill that she saw the animal on. Alex tries to stop her but she is already running there he sends Kira after her while he stays back with Stiles and Lydia. Which seems to be the right choice. As suddenly Lydia is attacked by a Berserker and just as she is about to be hit he comes in front of her and blocks the attack by raising his right arm. Then he punches the Berserker in the chest causing the bones in and on his chest to break. Then he quickly goes there and takes the skull of the bear off its head but it is still trying it's best to Attack Alex. Not having another option he slits the throat of the Berserker. As this was going on Malia and Kira are back and Malia has cut on the side of her stomach.

Everyone is looking at him shocked and --angry.

Stiles comes to him and says while shouting: "Why did you have to kill him. We could have sent it to prison or something."

Alex shouted back and said: "I killed it because number 1 it was trying to kill us, number 2 because berserkers don't have a mind of their own instead they are just puppets that are being controlled. I don't know for sure but it is supposed to be some kind of supernatural from the were category. And Stiles the number of people you and Scott have forgiven might sound great or awesome in a story bet this is real life do you even know how many enemies you have created because you didn't kill them did you even consider what they could do to your family. This is not some story in which you forgive your enemies and they come back and help you when you are in trouble and then happily ever after, no this is life they will come back for you for your family, if you show them even a moment of weakness or turn your back towards them they will backstab you any chance they get. I admit there could be one or two who turn good but that is all. You have got to learn that life isn't all rainbows and flowers it is filled with traps and bad people every step of the day."

Stiles, Kira and Lydia started to seriously contemplate about what he had just said. And then there was Malia who like always couldn't read the mood and said: "Alex If I remember clearly then you had a healing ability so do you think you can heal this. As she said that she uncovers the side of her stomach showing a cut. Alex goes to her and takes out his claws. Then he pierces close to Malia's wound which instantly starts healing up and is completely healed in 2 seconds. The speed of healing again shocks them greatly as that is near-instant healing.

After another 15 minutes of awkward silence, Stiles had finally fixed the car then they continued their drive to the church in complete silence.

Just as they reached the church they see Scott along with the mercenary and Derek but____younger.

(Guys, it is my first time writing a Pov so please tell me if there are any mistakes.)

Flashback

Scott POV

I take Alex's bike and along with the mercenary leave for the church. Just as we enter the church we find a passage leading below the church. As we enter the passage I look around to find that we are in a kind of a maze. When we are searching the maze for the right passage I hear something due to my super hearing.

Scott: "There is something here with us and whatever it is, it is fast."

Mercenary: "Get behind me! NOW!"

As I get behind her she starts to randomly shoot to try and get the thing to leave us alone but it is not working. I see this and just as she finishes her ammo and starts to reload I get in front of her and roar at the top of my lungs for as long as I can. As I finish the roar I am left breathless but I think it was worth it as the thing that was after us has run away.

Scott: "I think I scared it."

Mercenary: " I think you scared everything in here."

Then we look behind us and see a tome and she says: "I think we have found Derek."

Scott: "What is this?"

Mercenary: "it is the tome of the Jaguar god and I think Derek is in this."

In this we find Derek but there is a slight problem. We take him out and there is no problem the whole way. As we reach outside we see that Alex and the pack are just reaching and they look grim especially Alex and Stiles while the rest look like they have just come to a realisation.

They come out and see Derek and all of them have a questioning gaze while Stiles has a weirded out gaze which practically says: "What the hell happened here."

Alex asks: "Is this supposed to be Derek didn't you say he was a broody guy who was always angry and all."

Stiles: "It is Derek but it is actually his...."

Sike cliffhanger time.
