Chapter 5

After going through his memories and analysing his status, Zeus started looking around again and inspecting the cave he was in, it was a medium-size room that had blue crystals that emitted light they were spread out all over the cave walls and ceilings.

As he was looking around, he saw the exit to the cave and decided to walk toward it and look outside but was surprised at what he found.

The cave he was in, was on the side of the mountain. He looked down and was amazed by the beauty of the earth with various trees of different sizes. The young god looked in amazement at the various plants, herbs, and flowers of different kinds.

Zeus looked down and saw magical animals of different sizes with the shortest that he could see being a 10ft tall black panther.

"So, this the desolate era, the time without humanity destroying the land"

He took in a deep breath and smelt how fresh the air was, He could feel the very magic and primaeval energy in the environment. Zeus looked around with a twinkle in his eyes and began smiling,

''I am looking forward to exploring this new world and the adventures that await me.'' He said while walking over to a cliff in front of him.

{Ahem}

Zeus was interrupted by a cough from within his mind

"I apologize Eve this is all new to me and looking at this beautiful world makes me excited about the adventure that awaits me"

{It is alright Zeus but you have to remember the position that you are in right now. You may be powerful and have a lot of potential to become the strongest but right now you are still young with no combat experience.}

"Your right Eve thanks for the reminder for now I should make myself acquainted with the area that I am currently in"

'Eve, open the map and map my allies in green those that are neutral in grey and enemies in red'

The map and inventory were functions I discovered Eve gained through evolution while exploring her function earlier.

The function of the map includes a compass and a 3D mini map though it can only map things within the user's line of sight. It will allow you to compile a map within the A.I Chip.

While the inventory another function he gained shows square grids in which the user can store items. Items stored can be stored and extracted using mental commands. They can also be equipped from inventory by the user to immediately change equipment.

Eve then opens the 3D map that showed the landmarks of the area that he was living in for about 10km. it showed a lot of greys and red dots as well as a green dot that seemed to be around the river close by to his cave.

''Hmm that green dot must be the mother Rhea'' he said as he tapped the green dot which changed into a 3D version of the Rhea.

"With this, I won't have to worry about where am going and would now be able to easily identify my enemies. This is a really useful function Eve."

Without hesitation, Zeus walked to the edge of the cliff and jumped down from the cave he was in. As he began dropping face-first towards the ground.

Adrenaline began pumping through his veins the closer he was getting to the ground. Zeus then started manipulating the air around him to slow down his fall before doing a front flip gracefully floating onto the ground.

From his memories, he had done this so many times that it had now become second nature. He was also greatly surprised at how easily he could command the wind.

"That was amazing" exclaimed while his eyes flashed a brilliant gold

The blonde shook his head before walking in the direction of the river where his mother was located.

While walking there he made sure to make a map of everything that he could see. He found that he could zoom into the areas that he has been in and the place of focus had all the details he had mapped.

Not only that he also collected herbs and plants putting them in the inventory for Eve to analyse their various effects and components that they might have.

He had found this ability in his inventory earlier when he was in the cave and put a blue crystal in his inventory as he liked the way it looked. The result was as soon as it was placed inside it was found that Eve was capable of quickly analysing its components and the various effect it produced.

He had found that those blue crystals were filled with raw magic power that had been accumulated over time from the environment. Eve also found that these blue crystals are a source of clean energy that can be used for a variety of different purposes.

So before leaving the cave he had taken a couple of them, put them in his inventory and asked Eve to create a file on these blue crystals. The primary function of the file is collecting and analysing energy within the blue crystal. While the secondary function focuses on the different uses of these magic stones using the current data that he has available.

As he was getting closer to the river Zeus was alerted by Eve of something approaching him at a quick speed. So, without hesitation, he opened up his map and saw on his map a red dot approaching him at a quick pace.

The young god suddenly had a strange noise coming from what looked to be a blueberry bush to his right. Before a four-headed bull monster, about 7ft tall jumped out it toward him

Time seemed to stop as Zeus rolled out of the way, before using his control over the wind to propel him into the air, he could feel power pumping through his veins as lighting began to spark around his body. Manipulating the wind around him again he created four spears and launched them at a fast pace toward the bull. Before landing on a nearby branch of a tree.

Zeus stood on a branch in the trees and then examined the monster before him. This is not the first time he had done this. Ever since he started training five years ago he had been fighting these monsters daily and managed to accumulate a lot of experience in dealing with them.

The monster before him was a red-eyed bull with black scales and four heads. With Eve's help, he managed to analyse the monster in front of him and calculate the best way to defeat his opponent.

{Lord Zeus this monster possesses great strength but has low agility and it seemed to have sustained damage from your attack earlier on its neck. If you could send a power attack towards it that weak spot on the neck you would be able to defeat it.}

Sure enough, when Zeus's eyes zoomed onto the neck of the bull he found a large gush on the side of its neck that seemed to greatly affect its vitality.

Zeus's golden eyes glowed white with power before he began generating electricity in his right hand it felt so natural to him as if the lighting were a part of his body.

He manipulated the electricity in his hand managing to turn it into a lighting whip before jumping off the tree and using his lighting whip to tie one end to that of the bullheads and the other end to the trees around it, watching as the monster began to thrash around trying to break free but to no avail.

He repeated this action for the other heads of the monster each being tied to a different tree and watched as the monster stood in the middle of the clearing glaring at him hatefully.

Zeus then began generating a large amount of lighting in his left hand before creating a powerful lightning bolt and then with all his might he threw the bolt on the side of the monster's neck ripping through the neck and going all the way to its heart as lighting and wind began to destroy the monster from inside out.

After he was sure that the monster had been defeated the blue-eyed god walked to the monster he put his hand on it before storing it in his inventory. When he looked into the inventory and found that all parts of the four-headed black bull had been harvested. The meat was in one slot, the scales were in another and the bones were in the third slot.

When he was about to ask Eve, she properly answered him

{That is because the inventory has an automatic retrieve and harvest, so every time you defeat a monster the inventory would automatically retrieve it and harvest it.}

''I see thank you for the heads up'' Zeus said with a smile on his as this was the first monster he defeated after he had regained his memories. Sure, he has the knowledge and experience of having fought different monsters in the past but this time is different as it represents his fast step on his journey to the top. So, with new confidence, he continued his journey toward where his mother was located.
