"It's been 2 days since I have drifted in the orbit of planet earth. Or now called as planet Polus."
Tyron mumbled to himself as he tossed the recorder which shaped like a ball up and down on the escape capsule. The capsule orbited around earth like a small speck of dust.
"The aliens, or whatsoever has created machines to lowered down earth's temperature, maybe they just don't like a walk on a sunny beach." Tyron laughed as he stopped tossing the ball as he looked at the purple planet in front of him, it was not the green, blue ball of life he remembered the first time he saw it in an encyclopedia.
"I have been staring blankly at space for the past two days, and yet nothing happened." He said as he reached to his pocket and took out a piece of note. "No sign of the signal that captain had said. Supplied are running low. So maybe I will just stay here forever."
He let out a bitter chuckle before pressing the button on the sphere ball to stop the recording before tossing it into a bin. He laid on the bed, as he looked at the planet through the windshield, a purple dark planet, with flashes of what could be seen as thunderstorm. The planet was filled with heavy snowing and blizzards, and till now, according to his calculations the snow never stops. He looked at the planet as he wondered, what on earth happened here?
"Beep." Suddenly a small beep cut through the silent. A small flashing red light filled the room. Tyron sat up alerted as he looked at the device that was given by captain along with the note. It was an ancient device, he did not even know how to use or even reboot it, but what he knew was it was the one and only ticket to land onto the planet safely. He leaped from his bed as he pounces onto the device and catch it within his grasp as if he was afraid that the device would literally ran away. Through the red flashing lights random words and numbers began to fill the screen of the device. It was a location. Tyron gasped with excitement as he key in the location onto the motherboard of the capsule.
With a slight rumble, the capsule zoomed towards the planet with light speed as Tyron buckled himself for impact. It was going to be a hard landing, but he don't care much as excitement filled his mind, it's been almost 3 years since he return back to planet earth.
The signal has arrived.
Tyron Ashook was going home.
"Signal sent, he should've arrived any second now." Regan said after finished pressing a button. "Good." Alfred said as he put his hand onto Regan's shoulder "He should arrive in 10 minutes, is let's get started." "Yes boss" Regan said as he stood up from the chair and followed Alfred towards the main door.
"What the hell!" Tyron screamed as he crashed landed onto a huge orbit that was spewing purple gases onto the atmosphere. He never seen these before. But he had no time to guess, the door had been torn away from the capsule due to the crash, now he could feel the wind blowing right at his face. He had no choice but to hold onto the chair for his dear life, prating he will not be toss out from the ship like a catapult.
The ship spiraled like a crazy top on lose. He could fell the energy bar he just had for breakfast rolling up and down in his stomach like a roller coaster and it was going to rush out from his throat. Luckily he hold that out. Through the hole, he could see snow, a lot of snow, covering the land pure white. And everytime after a spin, the land gets nearer and nearer and nearer, like it was right in front of his nose. He was about to scream for his mother by the time it was about to crashed the ground but suddenly it all stopped. All the turning, falling come to a halt as the ship was motionless, floating above the ground. He was breathing heavily as if he had just take a short walk from hell. Just as he was about to went out of a capsule, a head reached inside the capsule, almost giving Tyron a heart attack. "So you've found your way back home kiddo." The figure chuckled after looking at Tyron's reaction. He let out his hand as he pulled Tyron out from the capsule. Tyron looked at the man, he was wearing a space suit so he could not know his face, but from his sound, he must have a very sexy beard. The man found out that Tyron was looking at him, so he pointed at the front, signaling Tyron to look what was in front of him, Tyron did what he was told, and what he saw make his jaw drop. In front of him was a huge base, bigger than the SKELD, and talking about it, there was a damaged SKELD parked on it. "Welcome to the Base kid, I am Alfred" He said as he patted Tyron's back, "So let's get familiar shall we." Tyron nodded as both of them walked towards the base.
At the center of the base was a broken SKELD ship, parked safely from other buildings, as workers mend and fix the ship. "Our ticket out here in case everything fails." Alfred said as he pointed at the huge beast. "We've found a Goldilocks planet not far away from earth code G-5190 and in case we lose Earth that is going to be our holiday getaway."
Tyron nodded as he looked at workers mending parts of the ship with sheets of steels. Beside them was an upside down L-shaped building located at the left corner of the base. Alfred opened the door with his fingerprint and within a second the machine beeped as the metal door slid open. "This is the electricity," Alfred said while pointing at an outdoor tesla generator. "The electricity we generated will be store underground, so even thought someone sabotaged it, backup energy will keep on supplying." They continued before arriving a small cubicle room, on top of the room there was a led sign written: Security. Alfred knocked onto the door before opening it. The room was small, with a huge computer screen that cover most of the room. And sitting in front him was bulky man with black suit. "M." Alfred sounded as the man called "M" turned the chair towards him. "What's da matter boss." He said as he looked at Alfred for a split second before locking his eyes on Tyron. "Who's da boy." He asked in a suspicious tone. "Tyron Ashok. Son of Reed Ashok." Alfred answered shortly. "Reed Ashok, so you're that old man's kid huh." M said as he look at Tyron close up before asking Alfred. "Did he do da scan?" "Not yet, we will do it shortly." Alfred said while backing out from the security with Tyron. "Have a knice day!" M said before slamming the door shut.
"What scan?" Tyron asked while on their way to O2. "We've found something useful while scavenging the piles of wreck at MIRA HQ." Alfred replied after pushing the passwords on the door. "A piece of alien technology, but it was useful and is the only way to spot out an imposter." As he finished, the door slid open and they walk through it, arriving at O2. "It was located at the Speciesmen room and to get to there we need to open a lot of doors." He said as his swipe his card on a door located at the lower left of O2. The door slid open and they are outside on the snow again. They walked past weaponry as they arrived at a huge building with a sign "Office". As they approached the door, Tyron stopped Alfred. "What scavenging? I thought the government were with us." Alfred sigh as he replied: "It doesn't took us too long to find out that the "governments" we already being hosted. We are the rebels now Tyron, and we only have not more than 10 person on this base." "Wait 10?" Tyron asked in confusion, "Where are the others?" "At the bunker we build safe from others." Alfred said with hint of impatient in his tone. "So stop asking and keep following" The door slid open and they walked into the office.
The office was a large room and was connected with admin. It has a heart detection system where at there, Alfred inputted a device on my back. "In case of something bad happened we will know immediately." He mumbled as he typed and keyed a lot of information into the computer. After a few moments, a beep could be heard, I peeped towards the screen of the computer and saw my icon on the monitor, with my heartbeat on it, and there were several other icons too. "Done." He exclaimed while he stood up from the monitor and bring me to admin. There he created a card for me and led me into decontamination.
After it, the door opens and there is a narrow path with signs pointing towards Speciesmen room. There were a few windows along the path, so Tyron looked through it. Besides the building was a huge pool of lava, with flames shooting out from the pit. "The source of energy and electricity." Alfred chuckled. "The steam and heat pushed the turbine, converting it into usable energy, so there is no energy outbreak here before." Both of them looked at the pool of lava for a few minutes before they continued their work.
After not over a minute walking on the empty hallway, they reached the Specimen Room. At there a slender man in white suit could be found inspecting a corpse. When he saw Tyron, he welcomed him with a wide open arms but Tyron refused, as his body was covered in blood and mucus as well as other disgusting things. "Tyron, met Regan, our own mad scientist." Alfred introduced, Tyron nodded but all of his attention were attracted towards the corpse. "You're looking at this guy, huh." Regan said as he invited Tyron to inspect the body. "We found him at the ruins at MIRA HQ. His pulse is weak but is still living, but it was impossible to survive a drop like this, not mentioning getting stab two times at the arm and a gunshot at the head." Tyron nodded thoughtfully as he inspect the body.
Why?
"You got the speciesmen?" Regan asked with excitement beaming from his eyes, suddenly changing the topic of the talk. "Captain said that the sample is with you." "Oh, yes." Tyron answered while reaching to his backpack before pulling out three container, each with a sample of a roasted alien parasite with a label written on it: GOGZIDS SAMPLE. Regan was clearly taken away by the speciesmen and without asking, he snatched away the container rudely and began inspecting it with a microscope. Tyron was about to argue but Alfred stopped him: "he is just excited, you will get used to it." Alfred whispered, Tyron grunted with dissatisfaction and watched Regard chuckling and talking to himself.
But suddenly all came to a stop. Regan's smile disappeared before he stop inspecting the sample. "What's the matter Doc." Alfred asked concernly. "Its' no use! The brain is damaged, we need a live one, not a roasted overnight sample." He shouted angrily before cursing under his breath and banged the table with his fist. "But how should we do that?" There was a moment of silent in the room, as if all hope were lost.
"How bout the corpse." Tyron asked. "It is found at the ruins of MIRA HQ, right. Isn't there where the place those Gogzids crawl over? And he survive a fall from the atmosphere, it is impossible for a human to do so." "Alfred and Regan nodded as they smiled. "A great option." Regan praised, "You did great kid, but now please do the scan to prove you're innocent. Besides, I need time for the surgery." With that he pushed them all the way to exit before he slam the door shut and continue mumbling to himself. "Just ignore it, he constantly act like this. Besides we got a walkie-talkie" Alfred chuckled as he pull out the intercom and shake it in his hand. "So where's the scan?" Tyron asked as they walked out of the Decontamination room.
"Here" Alfred pointed a machine located at the corner of the Medbay. Tyron looked at it and much to his surprise, it was the scanner that he always saw on the SKELD? "Isn't that the scanner?" Tyron asked, confused. "Yes." Alfred smirked. "But didn't I tell you it was alien tech? The one unable to scan it well in fact is human. Only Gogzids were able to do so." Tyron nodded as he look at the scanner, no wonder he was unable to scan on the ship!
Alfred reached for the lever and with a pull, the machine came back to life, humming quietly. "Hop on," Alfred signaled. Slowly Tyron climbed onto the machine and with the press of a button, the machine started to scan Tyron with beam of green lights. "Wait what?" Tyron was shocked, he was not an imposter! He was expecting Alfred to take a gun and shot him before throwing him into the bubbling larva pit but he did not, in fact he just burst into laughter. Didn't I tell you that it was fixed by Regan?" He said, still laughing. "He fixed and changed the system, so if it scan you, you are clean!" Tyron sighed with relief as the scan continues.

Regan breathed heavily as he pulled out a black slime like substance with a pair of tweezers. The substance was moving weakly, waving its tentacles. Excited, he reached for the intercom at the edge of the table. "Captain! I did it there was a...." Before he could even finish his words, the slime attacked suddenly, piercing his helmet and covering his face. Regan dropped the intercom on the ground as he struggled to pull away the substance but it was too late, the parasite had already dug deep into her skin. His body rolled on the ground helplessly for a while before stopping.
"Regan? What happened? Answer please!" A hand stretched out and take the intercom. "Yes, its Regan here. I'm sad to say there were in fact no sign of parasite in the body." "Well that's a shame, But no worries, we will search the area, hoping God is on our side." "Yes, I still need to do the cleanups so I will be hanging." "Yes, remember, no pressure." "Ok, Bye." The hand put the parasite on the table as Regan spectated the corpse in front of him. Regan smirked, baring his dagger like teeth.
Its killing time.

"What happened?" Tyron asked as he stepped down from the platform of the scanner, just finish scanning. "Nothing, just the Gogzids on the body." Alfred sighed "But don't worry, we will search the same area later after a meeting at the office, how about waiting there for a minute or ten will waiting for me to inform others?" He said as he patted Tyron's back. Tyron nodded as he walked out of the laboratory. It was still snowing heavily, the pilling snow almost reached his knees, making walking even difficult. After a few tries, he reached the offices, out of breath and energy. He leaned towards the wall while looking at his heartbeat through the monitor. His pulse were jumping crazily like a drunk rabbit. He laughed mockingly at himself but suddenly he heard a beep. He looked at the monitor as his eyes widened. One of the member's pulse had stopped. He thought it was a sick joke or just a system malfunction but then another beep, then the third, the forth. Then he ran out from the room, rushing to the laboratory, hoping that Alfred is still there

"Hell!" M cursed under his breath as he reloaded his gun and before peeking from the wall to ensure the imposters location. As he did so, a long tentacles strike, aiming for his head. He dodged it right on time but it had cut her face. Tiny red worms crawl out from the wound as he swiped it with his glove. "Are you mad, Regan!?" He shouted as the words bounces at the empty wall of the room.
No reply.
The room was silent, but he knew he has not much time as the footsteps are approaching slowly. He had no choice, he was way too strong. He only had one way to do, it was a dumb way, but he had no other choice other than waiting death's arrival. He let out a roar and leaped out from the spot, rushing towards the figure.
Goodbye Tyron.
Goodbye Alfred.
Goodbye earth.

Tyron gasped as he walked past the each and every building, hoping that he could see Alfred or any living being. But what rolled into his eyes were corpses and bloods, each killed brutally. He ran towards the Electrical but the door is locked. He banged onto the door but there was no response. He screamed and shout, hoping the door would open upon his command but it did not. It was dark as lights were sabotaged, even though Alfred said it was impossible. He cuddled up and let snow rain on him, he felt helpless for the second time in his life, as fear crawled over him.
Suddenly the door slid open. The room was dark, but a metallic scent pierced his nose. He stumbled into the room but slipped and fall onto a puddle of liquid. His helmet cracked and some of the liquid entered his helmet, the metallic smell get even stronger, the scent was recognizable, it was
BLOOD!
He screamed but a hand reached out and covered his mouth. He struggled as he throw everything he had to the figure, just as he was about to throw a punch at the figure, a sound stopped him from doing so: "Stop screaming! You dumb kid, he will find us!" Tyron stopped kicking, struggling or even make a sound. He turned his head and through the darkness he saw Alfred's hazy face. He screamed in Joy as he hugged him, he hugged back too, patting his back. "I thought I would lost you kid." Alfred whispered. "Me too." Tyron smiled as tears rolled down his cheeks. He has lost enough love one in his life, now he can afford to lose one again.
After a moment, a distance footstep could be heard. Alfred pushed away Tyron as they stood up from the floor. The footstep get nearer and nearer with a slithering sound like a snake. Both of them backend from the door. Tyron tried to identify the figure but he saw nothing, everything was pitch black.
There was a split second of silent when suddenly a creature pounces at them. "RUN!!" Alfred shouted as they ran blindly like bats in the cold snow. They ran according with their memories and they soon make it to the decontamination. But they could not stop, as the creature was just a few feet away from them, screeching and screaming. The monster's tentacles reached out for Tyron but the door slam shut, cutting the tentacles of the being with a loud painful shriek.
Tyron was shocked. "What is that?" he asked. "Regan. But he was hosted." Alfred said just before the door slid open. "Come one, follow me" Confused, Tyron followed Alfred towards the Speciesmen room. As they arrived, Alfred ordered him to stand beside as he fixed the machine. Tyron stood beside as sound of wiring and electricity sparkling could be heard. The room was dimly lited by the lava pool as flames burst out from the pool, bringing back moment of brightness.
Suddenly, he could heard a sound, so quiet like a mosquito humming. It was like the door of decontamination had opened. Just he was about to tell Alfred, the lights flickered and turned back to normal. As rows and rows and lights were lited, the silhouette of the figure became clearer and clearer. Alfred stood up as he looked at the figure.
Regan.
The figure walked slowly as every step sent a shiver down Tyron's spine. Regan was like a different person after being hosted. His cyan suit were dyed with blood stains and gums with some visible marks of gunshots. His helmet were broken, with several tongue sticking out from it. He let out his hand, which was filled with blood as he smirked.
Tyron and Alfred backend as Regan walked nearer and nearer. Every step was a horror as if death itself was getting nearer and nearer. "Leave the kid alone, Regan." Alfred said as he let out his arms to shield Tyron. "No!" Tyron screamed as he pushed away Alfred's arm "I'm not leaving without you!" "Stubborn kid." Alfred cursed under his breath, "Let's do this."
A huge monstrous figure burst out from Regan's body, shredding the suit as blood, bones, flesh and organs splattered out like Cola with Mentos, dying the whole room red. The figure pounces on Alfred as it open its mouth filled with suckers, tongue and dagger like jaws. Tyron kicked away the beast. Enraged, the beast rushed towards Tyron like a raging bull, with its mouth wide open, ready to land a lethal kill on Tyron. Tyron dodged with a swift leap, leaving the beast slamming into the wall. Tyron helped Alfred up as he said: "I've got an idea, follow me!" Alfred was confused, but he chose to believe. "Come here you giant slug!" Tyron shouted mockingly at the Beast. Enraged and felt insulted, he charged towards both Tyron and Alfred, shrieking and shouting crazily. They dodged at the side as it slammed towards the wall again. The structure shook violently.
Alfred and Tyron nodded as they repeated their move, and soon, the wall were starting to creak and the roof seems to be crumbling down. "Last one!" Tyron shouted as he lure the beast at the window, which was now cracked and fragile. The beast lunged towards him and at the nick of time Tyron leaped out of the way to safety. The window gave up and shattered into billions of pieces as the beast were lunged into the lava pit. When Tyron thought his plan had succeed, a strong gripped pulled him down, and if not for Alfred's fast reaction, he would've been toast.
The beast smirked as he looked at the duo victoriously. He screeched with joy as his tentacles dug deep into Tyron's suit and into his flesh. "Argh!!" Tyron screamed in pain as the beast smirked and starting to mold inside him, forcing to bond with his body. "You've to let go!!" Tyron screamed in pain. "No I wouldn't! Never!" Alfred shouted, colors were draining from his face as tears were escaping his eyes. "You have too! Or all of us will die!" Tyron shouted. Alfred looked at the creature, half of its body were inside Tyron's, only the upper half were left. Alfred closed his eyes whining like a wounded rabbit as their grasp started to slip.
As if all hope were lost, a huge flame burst out from the lava pit, burning the beast. The beast shriek in pain as it let go of its grasp and its whole body were pushed out from Tyron's. It roared in anger as it fell into the lava pit with a plop.
Upon seeing this, Alfred pushed Tyron out with every inch of his strength. They laid on the floor laughing and gasping for air. They looked at the light on the celling, glad to be alive. They looked at each other as they hugged.
They cried.
