He's Kinda Sweet

"Miss." The red-haired policeman returned to Daniella and called out the girl's name when he is finally near her. Daniella, who previously frozen while staring at the thief siblings who are already in the horse-drawn carriage, was shocked to hear the policeman's voice, even though the policeman spoke casually without a way that could surprise others.

"I'm sorry," said Daniella because the policeman was shocked by her shock, especially because when she was shocked, Daniella reflexively took a few steps back as if she was preparing to fight in order to protect herself, before finally, she closed her eyes while holding her left chest and breathed a sigh of relief.

"It's fine, are you all right?" asked the policeman.

"Yes ... I was thinking about something, I'm sorry once again," replied the girl.

"Alright."

"So, what do you want to talk to me about? I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but ... I have to arrive at my workplace in a few minutes, so ... I don't have much time," said Daniella.

"Alright, first of all, I apologize for that, but we do need you to provide information, if you can't do it today, it's totally fine if you do it tomorrow. Sorry if all of this troubles you, your information is very much needed too, so may I get the address of your home or the place where do you live and your identity? I will come to your house tomorrow at the time we will determine," said the policeman.

"Oh, alright, no problem, I will be happy to provide information, and I think tomorrow is indeed a better time for this," said Daniella very kindly. The policeman then smiled after hearing what Daniella said and how she reacted.

"Thank you very much, Miss. Please write your address here," said the policeman while handing Daniella a paper and a dip pen as well as a small inkwell.

"Do you have your identity letter with you?" asked the policeman to Daniella after the girl finished writing down the address of the boarding house she lives at on the paper.

"No, unfortunately," said Daniella.

"Oh, all right, it's fine."

"Engh ... may I know what your full name is?" continued the policeman.

"Daniella Miller," said Daniella.

"I am Tobias Augustus, it's very nice to meet you," replied this policeman named Tobias as he shook hands with Daniella.

"It's very nice to meet you too," Daniella said the same thing with a smile.

"Thank you, Miss Miller. And one more thing, how about our meeting time? What time is the best time for me to come to your address?" Tobias asked Daniella.

"I suggest in the morning, around five o'clock or less if you can, because the mornings and nights are the only time I'm at the boarding house where I live, the rest I'm at my workplace, is that all right to you?" said Daniella.

"Yes, no problem at all, I can understand, thank you very much for the opportunity you give to us, I will go to the boarding house where you live very early in the morning," answered Tobias.

Daniella then smiled. "Thank you very much for your understanding, I really appreciate that," she said later.

"All right, may I go now?" continued the girl.

"Oh, yes, Miss, thank you very much for your time, sorry because all of these are so troublesome for you," said Tobias.

Daniella's sweet smile then widened a little, and after that, she said, "No problem."

"Excuse me," continued her.

"See you tomorrow, Miss, thanks for everything, have a nice day," Tobias gave a very friendly farewell.

"You too!" Daniella replied as she walked again to Billy's farm and began to move away from Tobias.

"He's kinda sweet," thought the girl as she doesn't see Tobias anymore because she is focused on looking ahead. Her smile doesn't fade from her lips and she does not care about the people around her who are still talking about her, this is probably because he's kinda sweet.
