#15: [真実と嘘] Truths and Lies

After school, Gabriel and Lucifer went to the roof top to talk.

"What do you want?" Gabriel asked. Lucifer set up an illusion barrier to keep people out of what he is about to say "Why set a barrier up?" Gabriel asks in fear, "Sister, are you still scared of the fact that I can kill angels or bend them to my will?" Lucifer asks "I'm not your sister, I'm your brother" Gabriel shouts. "Really now? Last time we fought, your long hair is slipping, this [Gabriel] isn't very competent, your speedy and heavy form for a woman is better than this" he said "Now that that's said, you should just revert, it's costing you isn't it? Just let go and recover" he added.

Gabriel gave in and stopped pretending, she reverted back to her female form, and reverted her skills to the max, as she reverts her Archangel form.

"Isn't this better? No lies, no schemes, and no secrets" he said smirking as people from below starts to giggle as the illusion barrier that Lucifer set up was broken down. "You! You did this didn't you?!" Gabriel shouted at Lucifer "All I did was show them the true you, so no secrets" he replied as he smiled. "You know? Azrael was way better at doing this than you!" she shouted and flew home.

Lucifer on the other hand, bought some land near Shiro's home and built a dungeon. Named it [Demon king's castle]

The dungeon requires about 6 thousand Yen to enter, and it requires people to have at least one affinity. Inside the dungeon, there are 50 floors found, monsters in each floor gets more and more difficult as the floor number gets bigger, and so does the demons and Arch demons that guard each floor.

People have been found to be fond of the dungeon, especially those who read a lot of isekai fantasy manga. But the risk of going inside the dungeon is not coming back alive, since it is connected to [Purgatory], when someone dies inside, they go straight there and will have no way of coming out.

Shiro, on one hand, still has not relieved himself from the gauntlet and has been waiting for Lucifer to return.

That night, Lucifer went back to get the sealed gauntlet, freeing the gauntlet so that the soul could move the body its inhabiting. [#32 Perfect Seal] was used to undo the stiff seal. "What are you planning now?" Shiro asked "Well, I was thinking of putting up a sham to get information on something, but it'll require this" he replied as the fire in his palm turns black revealing a registration form "A marriage form?! What for?" Shiro panickly asked.

"The princess who can't accept her fate must be forced to… if not, she will be frowned upon as a failure" was all that Lucifer said, then left, keeping Shiro inside [#40 Limitless void] which is a storing spell with no maximum capacity.

The next day, he invited Tomoe over to dinner. "Why are we here? This place is very expensive you know, even in Raals" Tomoe argued.

Raal or Raals. The currency used in Hell.

In Shiro's [Lucifer's] hand is a blue-colored flame, turning black, it presented a contract "We need to talk about this" and handed it over to her "A marriage contract?! Why?" she asked "It's for an investigation the King had set up" he said. "What happened?" she asks again "Well, the King noticed that me and my fiancée aren't getting along well, in fact, it's the opposite. So the king told me to go get a girl I'm closest to, and then make her sign this marriage contract that will later be approved by the king" he explained.

"So you're saying that it's a sham contract?" "Yeah, the divorce is going to happen after the investigation is done"

Tomoe signed the contract and moved in with Shiro and the others. "What are you doing here?" Mai asked "Shiro gave me the orders to, is there a problem?" she responds.

In hell, Shiro [Lucifer] went to the five kings' conference and told the king of his plans. "I see… well, if you insist. Besides, after the investigation, there will be a banquet for the tournament preliminaries" Eiji spoke "Thank you for your time"

Once home, Shiro was just in time for dinner. "Who cooked?" he asked "Of course, it's me, it's my first day moving here" Tomoe answered "Well, that sure is fine" he replied with a smile. The seventh squadron is having a new look at Shiro's expressions, he used to frown all the time when it comes to dinner, but when Tomoe cooks, he's all fired up.

"I have an announcement to make" Shiro said at the middle of eating dinner. "What is it?" Ryuu asked. Mai, Ryuu, Hikaru, and Himari are joining them at dinner.

"Tomo and I, are already married" he said that shocked everyone, especially Himari. "Married?" Mai asked "Yeah" he replied showing their registration. "So that was why you moved in" Yuri said.

After dinner, Himari's legs gave in and Hikaru went in to aid her "You alright?" she asked "Yeah, my legs suddenly felt weak" she replied.

Himari was escorted to her room by Hikaru and inside, they talked. "You're that boy in the picture, right?" Hikaru asked suddenly. Himari tried to shake her off, but she doesn't seem to believe her words.

"Yeah, that was me" Himari finally said after a long while of denying. "You know when I first saw the photo, I remembered that photo we took at your coming out party, but Shiro was never there, due to thinking it was only revenge that he won't go because you weren't there and only your [aid] was there" she said. "That was the excuse to leave right?" Hikaru asked after "Yeah, to rid myself of my authority after leaving the mansion, only to come back regaining them for the night, until my coming out party" she replied.

Their conversation about the past continues. After their conversation, both of them heard clapping sound over the room, Himari tried to sense who it is, but couldn't, Hikaru tried to do the same but also failed "To think that my hunch was right" a low grim voice was heard. "Who are you?"

"Nightmare Von Lucifer, the first King's Descendant" it said as he laughed and disappeared in thin air.

"Hunch?" Hikaru remembered his word "Was there someone watching over Shiro when he was young?" she asked "No, I don't think so, but there's always this gaze that passed to me every time I get close to him" she responded.

"Did you search for it?" she asked "At the time, I don't now search-type magic, so no"

As they were conversing, Shiro knocked on the door, and Hikaru picked it up "What's up?" Hikaru asked "Well, there was a sound coming from here, and I can't really sleep, so I check it out" he said.
