#17.5: [6本の剣の大会] the Six-Sword Tournament

The tournament has started, the Kanto Prefecture's leader, Akumu Shiro has not yet arrived after the attack, and the jury has decided to proceed without him. The first bout, Kanto vs. Chubu Prefecture, Chubu sent their sub-leader in the first round, but Kanto prefecture placed Makoto Hisui in all three matches.

Chubu Prefecture high thought that Kanto Prefecture high was underestimating them, and placed their leader in all three bouts, though the leader lost, they weren't able to advance in the tournament.

The Six-Sword tournament's rule is that there are a set of points that a team can get, there are three bouts, each team can get one point each time they defeat a member or the sub-leader, defeating the leader lets a team gain 3 points, making them win the match automatically.

The second round is with Chugoku prefecture high, but this time, there is only Gabriel who's fighting all three bouts. The same reaction was got from Chugoku, but they put all their students in all three matches, the sub-leader will fight the second fight and the leader will fight the third bout, Gabriel, with her Time-manipulation, she slowed time and attacked, that way, Chugoku was off the tournament.

The finals was in the corner, Shiro hasn't shown up, in 3 minutes, the finals matches will begin, Shiro, coming from the shadows, called Hisui and Gabriel, told them to go merciless in the final round, Hisui going first, then Gabriel, then lastly, Shiro. They were going to fight a school with a similar tournament record as them, six wins, zero loses, the Hokkaido Prefecture high.

"Where were you?!" Gabriel scolded him "I was at HQ, there was something that needed my attention" he replied "No matter, are you sure you want them to witness divinity?" Gabriel asked "Well, if magic is at hand, a little divinity would also come around the corner" he said "As for you Hisui, you can boost your speed when you're at your peak, using the [Wind Charm spell], I however, will go apeshit revealing another card in my hands" Shiro explained.

In the first round, Hisui went up the arena as planned, but Shiro's line of sight was at the headmaster, giving out something shady, kind of like a drug.

Hisui won his match, and it is Gabriel's turn next, as planned, he wanted to be merciless, and show their school's prowess, but as an angel, it's not his job to be merciless, she also fears Lucifer's anger, she knew that there was some kind of Godly powers that he had his hands on that could stop even her time, and so, did.

Two sets of pure white wings appeared on her back, a halo on her head and her eyes went completely sky blue.

In a flash, she slowed the earth's time and struck. In a swift 5 seconds, she made her opponent go down, but her opponent is a tough one, he stood up and charged at her.

She finished her fight in one fell swoop after her opponent stood up, she made it so that he couldn't stand for a couple hours, a spell named [Angelic demise] a spell that only angels can use, it can be used to paralyze the opponent and make it look like a hit.

Shiro told her that it would have been faster if she used [Demise] first then [Angelic demise]. Demise is a spell used by mostly anyone, but during ancient times, humans weren't able to take in mana fluctuations, so only angles and demons were able. Demise was created to take one's ability to make use of their limbs, by making them fall apart. Though the muscle structure would heal it after some time, it's still effective to make them feel pain then paralyze them.

[震度 剣心] Shindo Kenshin, the leader appointed by Hokkaido prefecture high, was a skilled swordsman based on intel, but his father, [震度 誠] Shindo Makoto, was a part of the mafia and sill is, their mafia distributes drugs all over Japan.

The headmaster injected him two doses of the drug before he was able to go up the arena while Shiro went up the moment they asked.

"Be wary Akumu, You might fall" he said. Shiro pointed his open hand to their corner and a liquid substance came flowing towards his hand. In Kenshin's neck, the liquid also poured out, flowing to Shiro's palm. Creating a ball of liquid, Shiro condensed it to become a small ball, more like a Chinese medicinal pill.

He elevated the pill-like solution high in the air, and continued to absorb the same solution all over Japan, there was one spot in Kanto prefecture, one in Chubu, and one in Hokkaido. Shiro slashed his own finger to let it bleed a little. That blood was then absorbed by the ball of liquid in the sky, making the liquid turn red.

The liquid became flexible, Shiro Turned into a sword and grabbed it, he also infused some melted particle steel to the mix as the blade formed.

He named it [White Nightmare] after Shiro's name as Shiro's soul can also reside there as he did with the gauntlet.

He swung it around, testing the waters…

"You done?! Kenshin said "Kind of, but I'm not done yet" he said with a smirk "My sister showed divinity, and as their leader, so should I" he added as his smirk became a grin then an evil smile.

Shiro elevated, and changed skin, he had horns coming out of his head, three pairs of wings, a tail, and somehow ghoul-like arms and legs. "Lucifer Lightborn at your service" he said.

His Wraith eye activated and quaked the ground, he activated another spell [#100 – Wraith Emperor Eye]. The quaking intensified, purple lightning struck from the sky to his eyes. His black sclera, to his deep blue and violet eyes, his demonic aura, his ability to pull out people's negative auras to himself, his demonic grin, to his demonic physique, his whole being is striking fear to those who see it, thus the beginning of a new rumor [Akumu Shiro is the Demon king] but Hokkaido high.

Slowly, he approached Kenshin as his right eye transforms into the Wraith Emperor eye, the same as his left eye, upon closing in, Kenshin tried to land a nit, but all his effort was in vain as the slashes were as he activated [#56 - Arcana V [The Hierophant] - Spirit's Authority] to make his body have a spirit-like appearance, almost unhittable.

He struck with white nightmare, his sword, and landed a hit "I wanted to give you a handicap, I won't use my speed in this battle, but it seems that even with a shit ton of handicaps, you can't handle even 5% of what my strength can endure" he said "5%?" Hisui asked Gabriel "Well, in terms of strength, Lucifer would get the utmost advantage as if it's not a battle, only a one-sided slaughter. That 5% he's referring to is the 5% of strength he can sustain from the Earth's mana fluctuation, which is less than 1% of what he can actually do. The Earth's fluctuations is one of the three major sources of fluctuation, and since we're talking about Lucifer, he can manipulate all three, but in this fight, he chose to give handicaps, that handicap is restricting himself to go full speed, and restricting himself from using both heavenly and demonic fluctuations" she explained.

"Wait, when you guys were fighting, how much did you have to expend to defeat him?" Hisui asked "Well, even if i go at full force with both forms, I can't pin him down for a second, i can withstand about up to 18% of his mixed fluctuations" she replies "Mixed?" "The percentage that he refers to when he uses all three sources"

As Kenshin desperately tried to land a hit, it was of no use, every time he goes down, he comes back up again trying to hit him once. "I suppose I could use about 7% on you" he said "Why only 2% diff?" Hisui asked "Well, even 2% of difference matters. If he used 20% of his mixed strength, I would end up having a broken celestial body, external and internal bleeding, a blind eye, probably exploded, and a useless pair of wings" she said. Hisui got chills in his spine trying to imagine that a 2% difference could make someone disable for life.

[# Arcana VIII [Strength] - Hero's fall]

Kenshin got knocked out the instant that Shiro activated [Hero's fall] and was considered unable to continue. Shiro transformed back to a regular student and finished the tournament on a high note for his school

Kanto Prefecture Highschool was considered as the champions of the very first Six-School tournament, and the first to clear the boards with a flawless record, 9-0. Meanwhile, in a dark place, Shiro was seen in front of a black door, saying "Midnight Business" as he was allowed to enter.

The headmaster of midnight, [子田 大気] Kota Daichi, was afraid to see him for a second time as his first visit before the tournament started was dreadful for their academy.
