It was a lot of feelings on the surface. Yes, Ruben knew that he had no right to claim anything from her, but it didn´t fit in his head that she could be with someone else. Friends? He wanted her close but he couldn't imagine her with someone else, other than him. The breakup was recent, he knew that Mariely was not a bad person nor would she have hurt him on purpose. He was already considering that it was better to distance himself, a part of him didn´t want to accept that she was no longer his girlfriend.

He walked into her classroom, sitting at her desk and a couple of minutes later he saw her walk into her classroom.
