...The rest of the week went by and Ruben didn't show up for all those days.

It was already Friday and since it had been little homework, Mariely did it for him, but they had to turn in the homework.

She looked at his empty desk with sadness and concern. The young brown-haired man noticed it in her eyes, he too had been surprised by that absence and she had not commented on anything, only that she went to look for him and didn´t find him, she did the same the following days but nothing. But when he talked to Yahir his smile would return immediately.

Also, her friends from her old classroom distracted her from that.

Finally, the bell rang announcing the recess.

-Kendall, Kendall- Mariely went after the girl and touched her shoulder- Do you know where Ruben is?

-What? - I look at her like she's crazy.
