We were far from perfect

After instructing the staff to clean the cafeteria, Neha went back to her apartment. A properly arranged 3-BHK apartment with a white and black theme running all around. She never really liked any color. Went straight to the bathroom and had a long warm bath. She came out with her hair untied and straightened. Slipped into pyjamas and t-shirt and made coffee.

It was a long and tiring day for her in the Restless city. She opened the window to breathe in fresh air and watch the night sky. She spotted airplanes and thought that one of them is going to India. The country she loves the most, her 'motherland'. She took her phone and checked the Instagram wall which was filled with pre-valentine pictures and quotes.

She locked her phone and went back inside, switched the television on and tuned to Channel -7.

"The city is filled with the love as Valentine's Day is tomorrow"

*switches channel*

"People are busy buying gifts for their loved ones"

Frustrated she switches turns the television off. 'I am missing Indian news channels right now'

Well tomorrow was the day that Neha used to love the most. The day when people celebrated 'LOVE', but it's become more of a headache now. Every year her friends would set up a blind date for her, but after what happened she wasn't sure about anything.

(10th result day)

The results were on the screen. She was shocked to see such grades on her mark sheet. Phones were ringing with relatives calling. She wanted to run away, go to Varun and hide her face there. His father was ashamed of her. The grade was still flashing on her screen with a big 'C' all over.

She could control her tears as it was flowing through her eyes. That day changed her, the day she took the road to success, the road away from Varun.

But how?! How could she do that to her? He loves her with all his heart and soul. She had to take the easy way around.

"Ya its me! I need a favor big time! I'll text you the details, its about Varun." Said Neha

"What happened? Everything alright between you two?" said a guy from the other side.

"Everything good and that's why we are breaking up" said Neha

"I don't get it" said the 'voice'

"you don't need the details just do as I say!" shouted Neha.

The 'Voice' made a Facebook account and posted many pictures of him and Neha together and added many people including Varun to friend's list.

Neha changed her status to 'committed'.
