"Promise me something" I said to them

They both looked at me in confusion 

"Promise me that we won't let any stupid things separate us after this. No stupid exam marks, or boys are whatever!. We'll always be together through anything. Anything at all" I said

Elly smiled at me.

"Through joy and misery," Elly said holding my hand and Phoebe's hand

"Through health and sickness" Phoebe said holding my hand

I squeezed both of their hands a little.

"Through thick and thin" I smiled 

A few seconds later,

"Guys..." Phoebe's voice trailed off

"Yeah?" I asked

"I think we just made a marriage vow..." she said

I was so happy and shocked when I saw Caroline awake. For five months I couldn't hear her chirpy voice or see her bright eyes. As happy as I am to see her, I still have to tell her everything that happened... 


We finally came back home. Elly was with her parents and I'm with mine. My brother has been sitting with me cuddling for a while now. As much as I despise cuddling, I need some sort of warmth in my life right now. Mom came up to me and sat beside me. 


"Phoebe?" she called me as she pushed away some stray hairs from my face 


I turned my body to face her. A few minutes later dad came in too. He sat beside Peter. 


"I'm sorry Phoebe." I heard my dad's voice a few seconds later 


I was angry at him for not telling me about my real family. But I couldn't stay mad at him. He was doing it to protect me.
