[Chapter Nineteen]

The three men reached the top with difficulties but managed to do so safely. The rope would sometimes be blown by the strong winds at higher elevation causing them to pause for a while hoping that the rope would not break under their weights as the aircraft ascended. The first one to reach was the one that was carrying their stuff, then the man carrying her. They all had felt tired but a couple of years of training kept them from giving up, the man carrying her threw her on board before hoisting himself up. Lastly was the man carrying the old doctor, who pushed the person he was carrying towards the awaiting arms of the people on board. He allowed himself to be helped as he felt that the adrenaline in his body had been used up, he was just starting to feel the fatigue that came with it.
