"Come to the basement the traitor's barely breathing and I need him alive." As much as he wished it was not true, the director had always been so calloused even towards his own daughter. He's angry at himself for bringing the old man into this death trap. He had known that the doctor fled after he had warned his co-workers when he learned that they were going to be killed that night. The director had ordered that no one would leave, he wanted the evidence of that night kept hidden from the public eye, he did not want to lose his support; especially since a strain of an unknown virus spread throughout the planet. He had an inkling doubt on what the research was about; the cure is the only thing that graced his jumbled thoughts. He quickly arrived at the basement, he went to the white room where the director had kept the old doctor.
"You're here", the director's unenthusiastic voice rang from behind him.
"Yes, I have come as you wanted director Allan." He said in reply.
