A Massacre

The Air soldiers arrived at the mansion first, their eyes widen at the sight they saw bodies of guards everywhere, their throats have been cut open leaving them in their own pool of blood "What the hell happened here" Sergeant Brooks said, the Earth group have just arrived from the scene.

"I don't know but we will try to find out" The two leaders ordered their troops to investigate and to see if anyone survived.

" I already called the HQ, they said they will send some help " Van said

" Ok good, now we need to check if any of the family members survived" Said Brooks. Van continued to scan the perimeter to see any clues then he noticed strange markings on the ground at the side of the mansion he followed those markings then he realised there has been an enchantment casted around the mansion to prevent anyone from escaping.

" Find anything yet?"

" There had been an enchantment casted around the mansion meaning that a wizard killed them" Van said

“ I can’t believe someone would do this. It’s like a massacre happened here”

” Well maybe it is “

" Do you think only one wizard can massacre all this people? " Van thinks for about a second before answering

" No, I guess not"

the two decided to get inside the mansion to investigate more, then they saw derbies on the ground. The entry hall is nearly demolished " There must have been a fight here" they continue scanning the place they went up the stairs and checked other rooms but it was all empty including the two girls room, they nearly checked every room except the master's.

" Let's check the master's" the two of them went looking for the masters bedroom, then suddenly Brooks saw something he wont forget, when he turned in a corner in the hallway he saw dead bodies of the guards swimming in their own pool of blood, throats have been cut open same as the guards outside, some are missing some limbs, and some of them has their guts ripped out of their stomach, the once white walls turned red painted by their own . Brooks gulped and called Van.

"What's the probl-" Van couldn't continue his sentence he saw one of the most disgusting things he has seen in his entire life. Van covered his mouth preventing him from puking his guts out.

"Be strong kid" They continue their way towards the door of the room stepping on the bodies while doing so, when they they entered the room no one was there, they only see a trashed and bloodied room.

“ Where could they be “

“ Impossible do you think they have been abducted?”

“ Maybe or maybe not. I think they escaped “

“ No the wizard casted an enchantment all over the mansion preventing anyone from escaping, and I think they were all attacked before the enchantment was casted “ Van said, he felt weird that no one was there, ‘ If they plan to abduct the family they could have just leave the guards alone so that they won’t even notice anything and if they plan to kill them all why are the bodies aren’t here did they buried it or something? ‘ he thought.

“ Sir we found someone it’s the girl “ a guard barged into the room with a horrified face, probably after seeing the bodies outside.

“ Ok we will go there now “ the two of them went followed the soldier. When they arrived there they saw the girl sitting on the floor with her knee pressed to her chest, they noticed her as the oldest daughter of the two wizards.

“ Hello there Louella “ Louella looked up to them reviling her bleak expression

“ I’m sorry for what happened here we will try to do our best to catch the one who did this ok “ Van said the girl just nod not talking to them.

“ We need to bring to the HQ for questioning since she is the only witness we have” Brooks said , Van agreed to his statement and went to Louella

“ We need to bring you with us to ask you questions about what happened here if it’s ok with you” Van asked her as gentle as he can

“ yeah sure do whatever you want “ she answered back in a monotoned voice, They felt pity for the girl, they can’t imagine the pain and trauma that she had experienced. He picked her up and carried her in his arms she was a little tens for a while but she slowly relaxed a bit. When they arrived outside they see tons of body bags lined up. Van notice Louella tensed up seeing dead bodies everywhere.

“ Sir the reinforcements are already here sir, and also detective Lipovsky “ said a soldier beside him is a man in his late 30’s wearing a brown trench coat. He has red eyes, sharp jawline and a scar on his eyes down to his cheeks.

“ Hello there Sergeant Jax Van and Sergeant Silas Brooks, I will take it from here “ The detective said with a thick accent

“ Thank you very much inspector, we will be now returning at HQ for questioning one of the victims” Brooks said. They went to their horses and mounted them Louella is with Van. They started to takeoff, one of the soldiers raised their hand opening a portal reviling Central City.

“ Are you ready?” He asked,Louella nod not caring on whatever’s gonna happen to her, all she can think about is where could her sister be.
