A date?

Erlan, my new body guard. I mean father could have discussed this with me earlier or better still let me pick one myself but no...

Erlan's not a bad guy. I just wish I could have gotten to decide who will be stuck guarding me at all times. Father and I have had an argument about this before, appointing people on my case without informing me. We had an argument about Erlan being my trainer in the first place. You'd think he'd have learned.

I mumble to myself as I sort out the new files and numerous proposals that have been laid on my desk.

There's a knock on the door. Elva's not here so I get up from my desk, leaving my office and walk into the living area to open the door for whoever it is. It's Erlan. Speak of the devil. He looks different.

"Your grace," He bows formally.

"I thought we've done away with all that formality." I give him a pleasant smile, a genuine one at that. "I've missed you."

"And I you. But it's necessary my lady."
