Sara’s POV:

“Richard is dead.”

Daniel repeated the words. his words were quite simple but I didn’t know why it was much difficult for me to understand. I didn’t know what my condition was. Whether I was happy or sad. I spotted no emotions. How was this even possible? Who killed him? And how?

“What? How-?”

And again, my sentence was incomplete. But Daniel guessed it.

“Officer said that they took his body for postmortem. According to them it was quite in bad shape. Let’s wait for results.”

But I didn’t think there was something to wait for. Everything was so messed before. But now, may be things will go better. May be.

“What happened? You look worried.”

I asked Daniel as he seem stressed about something.

“Nothing, just thinking.”

“About what?”

“Just some business stuffs.”

I knew he was hiding something from me. He couldn’t even lie properly.

“How did it happen?”
