1,2,3 and..!

However, with the excitement unabated tweeting inside me, I sat on a bench and wait. The time was passing and no one had come. I was kind of scared. It's getting dark early this season and that's something I'm not used to.

My elevator is always well lit, even during the hours I sleep its glow is all around me like a veil of extra protection. I was almost wavering about whether I should wait a little longer or if I should leave. But the darkness, combined with a strange noise I had heard, terrified me more and more.

The decision had been made, I had to get out of here as soon as possible. I got up, looked cautiously around and started walking home. DUP! What was that?! My whole body was alert, my senses sharpened. I was sticking my body against the rough wall.

This sound certainly did not indicate the arrival of my trainer since it was not a human walk. Not letting my body detach from the long surface, I tried to head to the exit in a way that the naked eye did not separate me as a body but as an extension of the wall.

I'd done it before, and it worked, so the odds were high for another escape from what was threatening me. Again, I heard something I identified as dragging, I understood that to escape harmless I had to deal with it. I was lifting my bag so I could hit this potential abuser with it.

I approached the exit and at the same time the source of the sound. 1,2,3 and..! I stand still with the bag over the head of the fallen girl who was collecting a pile of papers and threw them in her backpack.

Elena: Oh! This carelessness of mine is unbearable even for me!

She turned around and stabbed me with her eyes in a flash.

Elena: Hi! You should be here for practice, too. Early, early, well done.

I was immobilized in my pose. Maybe my instinct to identify the time isn't so advanced.

Elena: Why are you holding your bag like that?

I completely rejected the possibility of telling her that I almost attacked her.

Erica: For no particular reason.

I'm answering instead.

Elena: My name is Elena.

She said and tended her hand towards me to place the most uncomfortable handshake of my life.

Erica: I'm Erica.

Elena: Well, Erica, could you give me a hand?

Erica: Sure!

It was the least I could do to compensate her for her near-injury. Soon another girl and a boy had come to complete our school team. I recognized the boy right away. He was Orpheus, Nadia's brother and my neighbor for many years.

I've always envied and admired their family, it was what we call perfect. 'Calm, loving and above all strongly knit. Last of all and a little late, our trainer arrived.

Gymnast: Well, I guess I gave you with my little tardiness the chance to get to know each other, I did it deliberately for that very reason.

As for that, I'm certain...
