Chapter 19.

Kamaria's POV.

After I walked away from the crowd, I realized that I didn't know where the bridge he was referring to was. At first, I wasn't planning on meeting with him at any bridge. Upon seeing how distress the child became after we walked away from the warrior, I thought she might want to see him again.

She kept calling out for her father. That had me thinking that maybe he was her father.

"Hold on, little one. I don't know which bridge you are talking about." I looked down at the small child, who was clinging onto my right leg. Her face was round with chubby cheeks. There was so much innocence in her face. Her big almond eyes brimmed with tears that shone with a light brown color. She had the eyes of an angel.

"Daddy... Bridge!" She smiled, pointing her finger. I followed her gaze to a street quite a few blocks away.
