COLD OPEN
FADE IN
INT. BANK
Some UNDEAD PATRONS stand in line as a few TELLERS are working with some of the people as suddenly the doors burst open and a VAMPIRE begins spraying ROUNDS into the CEILING, the PATRONS screaming as they drop to the floor as THREE MORE MEN storm inside, followed by A beautiful WOMAN and then a LONG HAIRED BLONDE MAN.
As the VAMPIRE aims about the THREE MEN begin running about TAGGING The WALLS with BLACK DEVICES.
LONG HAIRED BLONDE
Ladies and Gentlemen please pay attention, the Man with the Gun here is not afraid of using it, the three GHOULS pacing about are setting charges that with this remote (holds up Detonator) will bring this place down, effectively killing you all, and maybe us too depending on the circumstances. Now, we have come for two things, one of them being your money, all of it, including what each of you has individually, and of course the bank itself...and the other...to be announced for reasons later on. Now, My lovely assistant here will be reading the room for malice.
The WOMAN holds her hand out as she closes her eyes and scans her arm back and forth before she points at a MAN on the ground, The VAMPIRE coming over as he begins unloading into the back of his head, the bullets tearing into skull and out of his eyes as the soul bursts forth before he explodes.
The PATRONS scream and gasp in horror as the LONG HAIRED BLONDE laughs.
LONG HAIRED BLONDE
There goes the hero of the bunch. Now that that is taken care of I know I haven't the right, but I will ask that all of you remain on the floor, face to the tile, and not to say a word. Thank you for being patient, LEENA, get a teller up for me please.
The WITCH, LEENA comes over and grabs a TELLER and pulls her around, pushing her towards him as the LONG HAIRED BLONDE smirks as he looks at her face.
LONG HAIRED BLONDE
I assume you tripped the emergency line, yes?
TELLER
Yes...yes?
LONG HAIRED BLONDE
Good girl. That was all.
The GHOULS appear from the back as they come and set some charges along the front of the doors as the VAMPIRE aims about as one of the GHOUL'S watches as ANGEL and DEMON SWAT UNITS begin to appear as RECLAIMING UNITS begin to surround the area as the GHOUL comes over to the LONG HAIRED BLONDE.
GHOUL
They're here.
LONG HAIRED BLONDE
Good. Empty the VAULT.
The GHOUL heads off as The TELLER looks at the oncoming force as she looks up at him.
TELLER
You won't get away with this...you...DEMON...
The LONG HAIRED BLONDE turns his head slowly towards her, a long of disdain in his face as the TELLER looks frightened.
LONG HAIRED BLONDE
Honey...
The LONG HAIRED BLONDE draws a LONG BLADE and stabs it through the TELLER'S FACE, some of the PATRONS see this and scream as they are kicked and knocked back into looking at the ground by the VAMPIRE as the WITCH comes over near the LONG HAIRED BLONDE as he pulls his blade out.
LONG HAIRED BLONDE
I'm an ANGEL.
The WITCH smirks at him as the ANGEL watches the FORCES gather outside as he smiles and begins laughing to himself.

INT. DINER
CHARLES orders from CINDY as SHANE, and EMMA walk in, SHANE sitting down beside CHARLES as CHARLES scoots in and moves his plate as EMMA compliments CINDY before sitting down as CHARLES slides a file over towards SHANE.
SHANE
What's this?
CHARLES
This...is your first solo mission.
EMMA
You're letting him go solo? Go ahead, SHANE, solo rounds are awesome.
SHANE
Anything big?
CHARLES
Nothing you couldn't handle.
EMMA orders as SHANE opens the file and scans through it as CHARLES takes a bite of a pancake as SHANE closes the file.
SHANE
You want me to find a VAMPIRE...and bring him in?
CHARLES
That's what it says, low risk, guy's a runner not a fighter, he knocked over a blood bank a few weeks ago and sold the stuff for profit, the SYSTEM wants to know who he sold it to and why, that's where you come in.
SHANE
I better get on this then.
EMMA
Go get' em new meat!
EMMA throws her arm and SHANE high fives it as he heads on as EMMA watches CINDY set her drink down as CHARLES'S phone goes off, CHARLES answering it after a few rings.
CHARLES
Yeah?
EXT. BANK
AUSTIN looks about as RECLAIMERS and other UNITS were all around the BANK as AUSTIN goes to a less crowded area.
AUSTIN
Boss...you need to get down to the BANK off of third, right now. Something major is going down, TERESA and COLBY just arrived and they're calling everyone in on this right now.
CHARLES
(O.S.)
Just sent SHANE on the mission I got this morning from COLBY, But I can get ANTHONY and NIKKI down there, and I've got EMMA here.
AUSTIN
Do it. This is...pretty big.
AUSTIN hangs up as he notices some ALPHA LEVEL UNITS appear on the scene as AUSTIN sighs and goes over towards some of the groups.
INT. DINER
CHARLES scoots out as he throws some cash down, EMMA looking sad as she had just ordered but CHARLES shrugs as she gets out of the booth and hurries off as CINDY watches them go and smirks as she shakes her head and goes to a nearby table.
INT. SHANE'S CAR
SHANE reads over some notes as he watches a nearby building as VAMPIRES were coming and going, SHANE studying the pictures of the MAN who had knocked off the bank as he was young, at least 23-25, SHANE setting it down as he watches the BUILDING with baited breath.
SHANE
Come on ZACHARY...Let this be an easy day for me.
SHANE bites at his thumb as he watches on.
EXT. BANK
CHARLES arrives as EMMA pulls over and gets out of her CAR as the TWO enter the busy and frantic scene outside of the BANK as CHARLES notices COLBY waving them down, TERESA talking to some other OVERSEER'S as CHARLES looks to see the heavy duty forces surrounding the area.
CHARLES
Is this really happening?
COLBY
Yep, first BANK HEIST since the one we stopped a hundred and sixteen years ago.
CHARLES
Why call us in, this is ALPHA level?
COLBY
We happen to be some of the only persons who have stopped a bank heist here, and this BANK to be exact.
CHARLES
Yeah, didn't think I'd be seeing this place get attacked again, what happened to the security?
COLBY
Got pretty lax over the last hundred plus years, they had one undercover, a UNDEAD, but we think he was taken out.
CHARLES
We?
CHARSOC
CHARLES, nice to see you.
CHARLES notices the PREMIER ALPHA UNIT OVERSEER, the DEMON CHARSOC appear as they SHAKE HANDS, EMMA eying CHRISTIAN who smirks at her as she looks away from him as CHRISTIAN looks at AUSTIN who comes over with NIKKI and ANTHONY.
CHARLES
CHARSOC, only the one I see?
CHARSOC
I always have my main unit doing solo work, pulling CHRISTIAN in for this one.
CHARLES
What's the scoop then?
CHARSOC
Walk with me.
The TWO begin walking as the others wait about, staring about impatiently as CHARSOC leads CHARLES over to a HUB area that was being set up.
CHARSOC
There are about thirty to forty hostages, most of them all UNDEAD. The group seems to be composed of a VAMPIRE, three GHOULS, a UNDEAD WITCH, and get this...the leader seems to be an ANGEL.
CHARLES
ANGEL?
CHARSOC
Mid level. Nothing to be super threatened by...
CHARLES
But enough to still be a very big threat.
CHARSOC
We were going to just storm the damn thing, but the TRIO were able to scan the building and found small heat signatures at designated points all over the entire building.
CHARLES
CHARGES?
CHARSOC
Seems to be, rigged to a single or even remote detonator.
CHARLES
Have they made contact yet?
CHARSOC
Not yet, but we're expecting it. Gentlemen this is CHARLES REID...
CHARSOC introduces CHARLES to a group of MEN who were taking point on the HEIST.
CHARSOC
He was a reclaimer who worked the last BANK HEIST, as well as a lead of his own unit. CHARLES, this is DREW STANTON, handler for a ALPHA LEVEL UNIT.
DREW
Hello.
CHARSOC
DAVIEL, ANGELIC head of the ANGELIC and DEMONIC SWAT BATTALION.
DAVIEL
HUMAN.
CHARSOC
LINTON CRESTMERE, Free Lance RECLAIMER handler.
LINTON
CHARLES, heard a lot.
CHARSOC
And you know BENJAMIN.
BENJAMIN turns to CHARLES who sneers but hides it as BENJAMIN smiles and extends a hand, CHARLES quickly shaking it and pulling it away as he had done with the others as CHARSOC comes around and waves CHARLES over who comes to the MAP that was laid out of the interior of the BANK.
CHARSOC
Now, we're discussing the best course of action to take, and seeing how you've raided this building before.
CHARLES
That was a long time ago, CHARSOC.
LINTON
It's the best tactical advantage we have at the moment, that BANK holds a eighth of the economic currency in the FRINGE, it's imperative we do not lose any of it.
CHARLES
Why attack this BANK again? Makes no sense.
BENJAMIN
The other seven eighths are divided into small subsidies all across the FRINGE, there'd be no way to hit one place with as much currency in one area like this one.
CHARLES
Still doesn't explain why they would even attempt when they know the response. This is more than just about money.
DREW
I was also drawing to that conclusion.
LINTON
Can you tell us anything that you may remember from your previous raid?
CHARLES
Well...
CHARLES looks the MAP over quickly, pointing at areas as he spoke.
CHARLES
We entered here...if I recall this corridor leads directly to the VAULT, from there we split into two teams, taking this hallway here...
LINTON
Could there be a way in without compromising using that side entrance? In case we need to use it for a storm in?
CHARLES
No, at this point if they have a WITCH getting in undetected could be damn near impossible.
DAVIEL
We are working on getting around that, but it'll take some time.
CHARLES nods as he continues to point things out as AUSTIN eyes CHRISTIAN who was watching the BANK intensely as NIKKI and EMMA were talking as NIKKI looks over at CHRISTIAN with a dropped jaw before EMMA pulls her arm, forcing her to look away as ANTHONY was talking to some ANGELS.
AUSTIN
I take out the ANGEL you take out the rest?
CHRISTIAN
Is that what you think you could do?
AUSTIN
I've tangled with ANGELS before.
CHRISTIAN
Have you now...?
AUSTIN
Wouldn't lie to you, why should I.
CHRISTIAN
Ever kill one?
AUSTIN
No.
CHRISTIAN
Then I think I should take point on that.
AUSTIN
We'll see.
CHRISTIAN
Intimidated, or just marking your territory?
AUSTIN
I don't need to act tough to know I'm better than you.
CHRISTIAN
Ha. I heard you got fired for...what was it?
AUSTIN
Not playing well with others...
CHRISTIAN
Oh I see...well, that and not playing well with your own teammates.
AUSTIN
This got a point.
CHRISTIAN
Can't really proclaim yourself as the best when you're not even a few days removed from being allowed back into the team you had to be kicked out of for being...selfish. The best are never selfish. They just are the ones you call on when things need to get done. You being here? Is only because your boss raided this same place a hundred years ago...nothing more.
CHRISTIAN smirks to himself before he walks off, AUSTIN balling his hand into a fist as he doesn't say anything.
INT. SHANE'S CAR
SHANE throws a cracker in the air and catches it into his mouth as he watches someone come out of the BUILDING, SHANE looking at the guy for a moment before he goes back to his crackers, sighing to himself as suddenly his PASSENGER SIDE DOOR opens, SHANE tossing the crackers as the VAMPIRE ZACHARY gets in, his eyed panicked.
SHANE
Whoa, what the fuck!?
ZACHARY
Are you the guy?! The RECLAIMER? Yes or no!
SHANE
Yes.
ZACHARY
Oh thank fucking god man, what the hell took you so damn long?!
SHANE
I've been here for hours!
ZACHARY
I put in a request to get picked up days ago, called in a bogus tip on a blood bank that got knocked over and said it was me.
SHANE
You did that?
ZACHARY
Yes!
SHANE
Why?
ZACHARY
Let's go man and I'll tell you everything you need to know.
SHANE
Uh...
ZACHARY
Look, people are after me, and what I know, and if I don't get into custody, I'm a dead man. And you too probably, so let's go!
SHANE
Okay...uh...
SHANE starts his CAR as he pulls out, ZACHARY looking about nervously as he rubs his face.
ZACHARY
Last few days have been..rough man, thank you.
SHANE
No problem, I guess. But why indicate yourself in a crime if you didn't commit it?
ZACHARY
Sometimes man you can go to the SYSTEM with some news and they just....don't believe you, and with me being...
SHANE
A Monster...?
ZACHARY
A VAMPIRE, a monster? Fuck you asshole.
SHANE
Look...I didn't mean anything by it, I'm still kinda new here...
ZACHARY
Oh...sorry, it's uh...sensitive word around here. How long have you been here?
SHANE
Going on three months.
ZACHARY

SHANE

ZACHARY
Yeah, do you remember? What it was like to be on the other side?
SHANE
Yeah. Not as vividly as days go by. But I do.
ZACHARY

SHANE

ZACHARY
You know man, you have a very negative attitude towards me and my kind, it's not healthy.
SHANE
So what is going on? What is so important that you're setting yourself up to be taken down by the SYSTEM?
ZACHARY
Look it's not a matter of what happens to me, as to what can happen to this whole freaking world if they don't do something about it.
SHANE
Stop tip toeing around it and spit it out!
ZACHARY
Fine fine. Okay, so what do you know about The MISFITS?
SHANE
The MISFITS? Like the band?
ZACHARY
No, it's a unit...a black ops reclaiming unit that went dark years ago.
SHANE
Uh, no, haven't heard of this group.
ZACHARY
Yeah, well neither do most of the people of the FRINGE. It's one of the SYSTEM'S best kept dirty little secrets.
SHANE
Keep going.
ZACHARY
Anyways, these guys go off the grid, and they start recruiting, hard, underworld mostly, but lately more and more UNDEAD, former RECLAIMERS the works start joining up, so much so that the MISFITS, went from a small unit to a full blown PARAMILITARY BATTALION.
SHANE
How do you know all of this?
ZACHARY
I was...a recruit.
SHANE
So where are these guys?
ZACHARY
Everywhere. And nowhere, these guys are mobile, these guys are...bad ass, and they are seriously fucking crazy. The things they talk about...the things they know...it's not...
SHANE
What are they planning on doing?
ZACHARY
Well...from what I could gather a few weeks ago one of the leaders was able to lift some pretty powerful tech...and...OH SHIT!
ZACHARY braces as SHANE doesn't notice until it was too late as a LARGE REINFORCED TRUCK slams into SHANE'S CAR from the SIDE, SHANE whip lashing HARD as everything goes blank.
SHANE stirs after a while, SHANE hearing the sounds of PEOPLE talking and scream, SHANE lifting his head as he watches ZACHARY being pulled violently out of the CAR, a FEW MEN IN TACTICAL GARB beating on him senselessly as they drag him towards the TRUCK as SHANE feels his DOOR get pried open as TWO MEN grab him and pull him out, dragging him from his CAR as SHANE looks about before passing out again.
EXT. BANK
CHARLES watches as DAVIEL and LINTON continue talking as DREW and BENJAMIN were discussing strategy as CHARSOC comes over along with COLBY and CHRISTIAN.
CHARSOC
Well this is all starting to grow tiresome.
CHARLES
We're going to have to act, soon.
COLBY
We can't do that until we have a reason for why they're even inside there in the first place.
CHARLES
That is not an excuse for inaction.
CHRISTIAN
He's right though, charging in without at least getting some Intel does us little to no good.
CHARLES
So what then?
CHARSOC
I believe they are trying to reach the culprits inside, I assume by now the blasted Telephone would be ringing off the hook non stop. Should get something here soon.
CHARLES looks hesitant about the plan as NIKKI and EMMA were standing off by themselves, watching the commotion as NIKKI eyes over towards the CHRISTIAN as she shakes her head.
NIKKI
I can't believe you.
EMMA
What? Oh, just stop will you.
NIKKI
I mean look at him...and you of all people, you, EMMA, are telling me you didn't hit that?
EMMA
We made out, he got a call from his boss, and...we just parted ways.
NIKKI
I don't believe you.
EMMA
Thanks.
NIKKI
It's just so not like you.
EMMA
I don't give it up to anybody and everybody.
NIKKI
Oh, hun...yes you do.
EMMA
Stop!
NIKKI closes her mouth as she keeps smiling as EMMA shakes her head as ANTHONY stands over by AUSTIN who was watching CHRISTIAN as well.
AUSTIN
Smug asshole. I should go over there and smack his face with my fucking dick.
ANTHONY
I can't believe EMMA slept with that guy...
AUSTIN
Did she say that?
ANTHONY
No...but I heard NIKKI giving her a hard time about it.
AUSTIN
Then she didn't bang him.
ANTHONY
What are you talking about?
AUSTIN
NIKKI only gives EMMA a hard time if she doesn't bang someone, it's been that way for years, where's your head been? Oh...up EMMA'S ass.
ANTHONY
Dude...you were supposed to have learned...like...hubris or something.
AUSTIN

ANTHONY
Nothing.
The TWO just go back to staring about.
INT. BANK
LEENA the UNDEAD WITCH checks the doors as the GHOULS were pushing pallets of MONEY out on the MAIN FLOOR as the VAMPIRE had MOVED the PATRONS against the WALL, as he paced it up and down as LEENA comes over towards the ANGEL as he was looking at the PHONE that was ringing continuously.
LEENA
If you do not answer that GAVIN, I will have one of the boys smash it to hell.
The ANGEL GAVIN looks over at her and nods, motioning for it as LEENA comes over and grabs it, taking it off of the hook as she hands it to GAVIN who presses the ON button and holds it to his ear.
GAVIN
By now I am sure you have more questions than you are expecting answers from me at this very moment, so ask all the things you need to, and I will get my part in all of this.
EXT. BANK
CHARLES and the others had run over as DAVIEL was barking orders for everyone to quiet down as BENJAMIN and LINTON were standing over a SPEAKER as GAVIN'S voice was ringing out.
BENJAMIN
(O.S.)
That is to the point.. Can I have your name?
GAVIN
I am the ANGEL known as GAVIN...and from your voice I can read that you too are ANGEL.
BENJAMIN
That I am. BENJAMIN.
GAVIN
(O.S.)
BENJAMIN...Does it bother you...knowing that someone like us...would be doing this? I'm sure it does. We hold ourselves in such high esteem here in the FRINGE it's got to be just a little hard to handle someone like me going off the reservation.
BENJAMIN
I am not here to worry about the merits of why you would do what you have done, I am only here to negotiate and see a peaceful resolution to this.
GAVIN
(O.S.)
Peace? We were created to wage war, to fight and uphold the name of the Almighty. To carry out his will and way with blind and unabashed obedience. At least most of us were. Are you cut from the cloth BENJAMIN? Are you still absolutely loyal to your father's plan?
BENJAMIN notices the eyes of others falling onto him as he shakes his head.
BENJAMIN
How many hostages do you have?
GAVIN
(O.S.)
Struck a nerve have I? 37, it was 38 but we had to put one down sadly.
BENJAMIN
You are after the currency, correct?
GAVIN
(O.S.)
It wouldn't be a BANK ROBBERY if we weren't after the capital.
BENJAMIN
Would you like to tell me why?
GAVIN
(O.S.)
I could. I really could but it would be...
LINTON whispers over towards DAVIEL as CHARSOC and CHARLES comes over.
LINTON
Why are we not getting any readings on whether or not he's telling the truth?
DAVIEL
His WITCH is using her magic, it's causing interference with the technology.
GAVIN
(O.S.)
...Minute at this point to divulge into those details. All you need to know at this moment is that I have 37 hostages alive and well for the time being, lined along the WEST end walls, where I have set CHARGES as I am sure you have already indicated, yes?
BENJAMIN
Indeed we have.
GAVIN
(O.S.)
Good, then you need to understand the serious nature of the force you are attempting to go up against. My life at this moment is of non importance, as are the lives of the men and women I keep in my care, and I will have no qualms about seeing this entire building go up in flame, taking ourselves and your precious HOSTAGES with it.
BENJAMIN
We are trying to avoid such outcomes, we do not know yet what you want, or why you are even attempting this in the first place?
GAVIN
(O.S.)
It's quite simple actually. Money within the SYSTEM is still a root of power and success. To lose any fraction of it, would cause systematic and economic collapse on a massive scale...
BENJAMIN
It would hamper the SYSTEM and the FRINGE for a very long time yes, but what is to be gained by doing this?
GAVIN
(O.S.)
What is to be gained? Everything. And nothing. Do not call again, until I call you.
The LINE goes dead as BENJAMIN slams his hands against the table, shaking his head as some of the people begin to disperse from the scene as LINTON nods.
LINTON
Well we have a partial motive at least. He wants to cripple the SYSTEM, and hitting here would help speed that along.
DREW
But not by much. A few months, maybe, even if he blew himself up and destroyed every piece of currency in that building, the real set back would be the outrage and civil unrest, the SYSTEM itself would be able to fully recover and mint out the currency to make up for the loss in mere months.
CHARLES
There's more to what he said then what was clearly obvious.
CHARSOC
Continue, CHARLES.
CHARLES
He told BENJAMIN, that by doing this what was to be gained would be everything, and nothing.
LINTON
A meaning you understand, CHARLES?
CHARLES
No, not that I personally understand, but one that could help us figure out the endgame here. He's obviously planning on killing the hostages and destroying the money, even taking his own self out with it if that's what it takes, but why? Why would he be doing this? It's simple when you break it down...
CHRISTIAN
He's under orders.
CHARLES looks to CHRISTIAN and nods at him as he looks the others before speaking up.
CHARLES
Precisely.
BENJAMIN
You believe an ANGEL would be taking orders to carry out a BANK HEIST? From who?
CHARLES
At the moment that doesn't matter, another variable we can't entertain because it does not help us in any fashion.
CHARSOC
He is right, trying to root out who could be giving him his orders would be spending time on the wrong thing, we need to try and understand the nature in which this ANGEL would take a small team and rob a bank.
DAVIEL
Distraction.
CHARLES
Come again?
DAVIEL
Could it be...that this is being used as a distraction, for something else entirely?
CHARLES
Son of a bitch...
LINTON
That would explain a lot...
BENJAMIN
Then we are now working under the assumption that this is being used to focus all our attention on this while something else could be going on. Better than nothing.
CHARSOC
However true this may be, it does not help our case in figuring out what they could be distracting us from, and how we resolve this matter.
BENJAMIN
I will have the TRIO scan any and all HIGH CLASSIFIED TECHNOLOGICAL CENTERS and WEAPONS CACHES, for any strange activity as well as some key figure residential homes, for now we're still blind and grounded, but good work everyone, let's stay focused, and hope we get a break here.
CHARLES and BENJAMIN stare each other down before the TWO both notice TERESA coming over, going to speak with CHARSOC as CHARSOC pulls away and goes to fill her in as CHARLES turns as LINTON comes over and asks for him to follow him and DAVIEL as CHARLES is lead off with BENJAMIN watching him closely.
INT. INTERROGATION ROOM
SHANE lets some blood drip down from his mouth as he slowly lifts his head as he was coming too, SHANE hearing some people talking as he tries to move his arms but can't as he looks to see his arms were tied behind his back on a chair, his LEGS tied down as well as he looks up as the ROOM was dimly lit as three figures stood in the room, A LARGE HULKING MAN, a PALE WOMAN, and another MAN sitting on the steps that lead up to the door, flicking a ZIPPO off and on.
SHANE stirs as the HULKING MAN comes over and grabs him by his face, forcing SHANE to look at him as SHANE can see the green and yellow eyes of a demon.
DEMON
He is starting to come too.
The DEMON slaps SHANE across the face gently as he comes back and leans against the wall as the PALE WOMAN and the MAN on the STAIRS say nothing.
SHANE
Where...am I?
DEMON
Locked away.
SHANE
Why?
DEMON
You were helping that puissant little VAMPIRE.
PALE WOMAN
BELPHAGOR, keep quiet.
BELPHEGOR
Speak for yourself then.
The PALE WOMAN comes over to SHANE wiping some blood off of his face as she licks it off of her fingers as she nods as she bends down and checks him over.
PALE WOMAN
You are recovering rather well for someone so fresh to our world...you have seen much no?
SHANE
What does a DEMON...and a VAMPIRE...and whatever the hell he is, wanting to start a revolution for?
BELPHEGOR
Goddamn little punk ass bitch was talking, I knew we should have killed him the moment we found out he was gone!
PALE WOMAN
Enough, BELPHEGOR, control your emotions!
BELPHEGOR sneers as the PALE WOMAN looks back at SHANE.
PALE WOMAN
What all did he tell you? Speak truthfully or my friend here will...
SHANE
Will what? Tough talk to me to death.
BELPHEGOR
Shut your mouth, you undead piece of shit.
SHANE

CHARSOC gives CHRISTIAN and AUSTIN a signal as the TWO nod and hold their MODIFIED MACHINE GUNS up as CHRISTIAN kicks the DOOR in, AUSTIN raiding inside first as he aims about, CHRISTIAN quickly walking pass as he aims about as he ducks as GHOUL runs at him, AUSTIN dropping the GHOUL with a well placed shot to its face as CHRISTIAN moves and kicks the SECOND GHOUL away as he hears a FLASH BOMB go off from the SOUTH ENTRANCE, GUNFIRE going off as CHARSOC runs in and grabs the GHOUL by it's head, AUSTIN watching as the GHOUL'S SUDDENLY BEGAN TO MELT as CHARSOC was merely touching it.

AUSTIN gets up as the MONEY they couldn't get was laid about the floor as the GHOUL grabs AUSTIN tosses him against the side of the WALL, AUSTIN landing with a hard clang as the metal slams against his body as AUSTIN reels as the GHOUL was upon him even before he landed, AUSTIN pushing its head back as he hears the VAULT DOOR beginning to open, AUSTIN watching as the GHOUL goes to bite at him but AUSTIN pushes the GHOUL'S FACE UP and using his free arm he elbows down, hitting the GHOUL on the LEFT ARM, breaking it with a sickening crack as the GHOUL howl as the GHOUL steps back as the VAULT DOOR OPENS, AUSTIN watching as CHRISTIAN goes to aim his MACHINE GUN but before he does AUSTIN grabs the GHOUL and snaps its neck all the around, before he tugs, ripping its head off of its body as he throws it against the ground, letting the body fall over as CHRISTIAN lowers the MACHINE GUN and looks at AUSTIN who was splattered with some GHOUL GUNK, AUSTIN smirking at him as he shrugs as CHARSOC checks him over before he hears the GUNFIRE slowly subside.

The THREE watch as GAVIN presses the button on the detonator, but nothing happens. GAVIN'S smirk disappearing into a frown as CHARSOC steps forward.

GAVIN looks between the two and nods as he holds his SWORD at the ready, looking about as CHRISTIAN charges first, going for a kick before he takes a slash at GAVIN but GAVIN blocks it and shoulder hits CHRISTIAN into a wall, AUSTIN taking the open window as he stabs GAVIN in the chest but GAVIN quickly pulls back off of the BLADE, hitting AUSTIN with a side kick that slams AUSTIN against the BANK TELLER'S COUNTER, AUSTIN reeling as GAVIN goes to IMPALE AUSTIN but CHRISTIAN runs and slide kicks GAVIN'S LEGS out from under him, GAVIN landing hard on his back as AUSTIN runs and goes to stab him but GAVIN moves out of the way, kicking AUSTIN across his face as he spins up and punches CHRISTIAN across his face but CHRISTIAN takes the punch UN phased, AUSTIN watching as GAVIN looks surprised as well as GAVIN goes to impale CHRISTIAN but CHRISTIAN disarms GAVIN breaking his arm, AUSTIN watching on his back as GAVIN screams in agony.
CHRISTIAN tosses the SWORD down and punches GAVIN across his face a few times, throwing a knee into his chest which causes the ANGEL to bend over as CHRISTIAN rears his arm back and stabs GAVIN in the chest, right into the HEART as GAVIN clutches at CHRISTIAN, CHRISTIAN looking into his eyes as GAVIN looks lost and confused as AUSTIN was giving CHRISTIAN the same look.

CHRISTIAN twists the blade and then rips it out before stabbing GAVIN three more times, GAVIN spewing out blood before CHRISTIAN pulls it out and steps away, watching as GAVIN falls over, dead. AUSTIN not moving from his prone spot on the floor as CHRISTIAN looks at him and smirks, holding a hand out as AUSTIN hesitantly takes it, CHRISTIAN pulling him up as AUSTIN and him lock eyes for a moment.

AUSTIN nods as he doesn't push it as he heads off, CHRISTIAN staring at the flames as he doesn't move as LINTON crosses his arm as he watches DAVIEL and LINTON directing some crews as BENJAMIN looks at DREW as he kept his gaze stern.
BENJAMIN
You want us to go to the SYSTEM...on the hunch of one undead human's theory.
DREW
It's the best we got. We got played all around. We got hit hard, and we're going to be hurting for a very long time. People are scared. An eighth of our economy went up in flames....the best damn OVERSEER in the entire FRINGE...
BENJAMIN

DREW
You seem rather testy right now, BENJAMIN...?

Not now, but tomorrow at the earliest, I should be able to pull it off.
DREW

One of his crew was kidnapped and held by a group we may think was in some way responsible for this...a group I know you've heard about...but probably aren't allowed to say anything about it.
BENJAMIN

This is starting to spiral out of control, we have to put a lid on it. Now.

DREW heads off as BENJAMIN sneers as he watches him go before he stares at the BURNING BANK, looking at it with a hint of regret, and sadness.
EXT. HOSPITAL ROOM
SHANE is talking to the GROUP as SHANE was telling him something that makes him laugh, EMMA and NIKKI sitting in chairs around him as ANTHONY and AUSTIN were standing as CHARLES watched them from outside the room, COLBY standing near him as the two turn away from the door.
COLBY
DREW will call you in with him to present your theories to the SYSTEM tomorrow. With the information we got from SHANE and the small pieces we can put together based off of what has happened today, we can safely assume that this was all in some connection.
CHARLES
Seems to be.
COLBY
Is he going to be alright?
CHARLES
I think so.
CHARLES notices TERESA appear down the hall, COLBY spotting her as COLBY nods and pats CHARLES on the shoulder before he goes into the ROOM, CHARLES meeting her halfway as TERESA comes face to face with CHARLES as the TWO don't speak at first.
TERESA
How...is he?
CHARLES
Hurt that much to ask?
TERESA
I am not fond of him...but he's still one of ours.
CHARLES
He'll manage. They didn't beat on him too badly.
TERESA
This is messy, CHARLES. Everything, whatever it's all about it, these MISFITS are a best kept secret...if this was some...calling card for what's to come...
CHARLES

General assumptions...even the easiest ones...could lead us to disaster.
CHARLES
Maybe. But...keep your eye on him.
TERESA
You'll be summoned tomorrow, but I didn't come to just ask about SHANE and tell you that.

TERESA holds up a file as CHARLES looks at her. TERESA handing it to him as CHARLES took it.
TERESA
Authorized and notarized. Are you sure about this? You've been so adamantly against it for so long...
CHARLES
It's time we give them a chance to prove me wrong...or right...
TERESA
That's a top tier ALPHA LEVEL MISSION. If your guys get that done...you can start considering yourselves ALPHA LEVEL.
CHARLES

CHARLES heads back towards the ROOM as TERESA watches him go, TERESA going to say something else but stops herself as CHARLES goes into the room without looking back, TERESA heading off as she gives a sorrowful look.
INT. MISFIT HIDEOUT-OFFICE
JARED steps inside the room as he closes the door, standing near the door as he leans against the wall and crosses his arms.
JARED
I assume you're not a big fan of my recent calls.
LYDIA NEWMAN, CHARLES'S presumed DEAD WIFE, turns to him coldly as she comes up to JARED, JARED looking at her with the same fixed smirk as she sneers.
LYDIA
I worked hard...to conceal myself away from my husband...to keep him off of this...and you have baited him and his...why?
JARED
SHANE will be a good asset, I could see it.
LYDIA
And why not hold him? Why let him free to tell everyone!? They'll trace our connection to the BANK HEIST, and GAVIN, they'll start looking for our inside man, and then they will come for us, and that is not part of the plan!
JARED
Your plan. But in order to carry out what “he” is wanting us to carry out, certain things had to be set into motion. I took care of that, and like tumblers in a lock, they all fell in place.
LYDIA
You are playing a dangerous game, there were much more better avenues and ways to achieve this without costing us GAVIN and kidnapping a reclaimer.
JARED
The UNEVENTFUL are essential to our success, whether they know it or not. We are watching them, we are keeping tabs, and in time, soon mind you, we will be ready, and then...we go with your plans. Until that point. We are still going with my plan.
LYDIA
If you harm CHARLES...
JARED
You'll what?! You'll defy him? You'll turn your back on everything we've been building towards? We are close to finally saving this world...do not let your prior feelings for your ex husband cloud your mind.
LYDIA
I did away with his prying, you brought this upon us, you've put me into this position!
JARED
Perhaps you should step down then...
LYDIA
Is that what this is...trying to emotionally compromise me...take my place?
JARED
Me? Do that? Please, Your post blows, I much rather lead the grunts.
LYDIA

JARED

JARED gives her his winning smile as he turns and heads out of the room, LYDIA baring her fangs in anger as she balls her hand into a fist as she screams, JARED walking down the steps as he smirks to himself as he hears her screams echoing off the OFFICE WALLS.
