Nightmares

Mia's pov:

Waking up in an unfamiliar bed i realised i was in the hospital. Images of last night flooded back into my memory and i shook a bit. Did Lily really die or was it my imagination? What did they do to Rose? So many unanswered questions flooded my mind.

Hearing the doors to my ward open i snapped my eyes shut pretending to still be asleep.

"Is she gonna be alright". I heard my mom say.

"Yes ma'am she will she is just trumatized but she will be alright although she might not be able to speak again". The other lady i presumed to be the doctor said. I opened my eyes as i could not hold back the emotions within me anymore. I let the tears stream down my plump cheeks.

" Baby is gonna be okay mommy is right here with and never gon' leave your side i promise". My mom tried to calm me but i was far from being calm at the moment.

"I will leave you two now". The doctor said and left us alone. I motioned for mom to give me a pen and a paper so i could communicate with her through writing. She stood up and left after giving a kiss on my forehead and a very tight hug.

" I will be right back sweetie". She said with a smile as she shut the door. A few minutes later the door opened and i smiled thinking it was mom but damn i was wrong. Seeing Rose stride towards me i felt my heart beating faster than normal as i tried to back further away into the bed until my back hit the wall stopping my movements.

I tried to shout but no sound came out. Oh fuck right i am dumb my mind screamed. As she came nearer my bed she had a big smile on her face which was creepy now.

"Well well well look who is scared now". She said laughing. " But i am not here for you well at least not today, not yet, i am here for your mom help me wish her a happy deathday". She finished smiling.

Then what i saw next had me crying and shaking. I literally saw a devil like human being slit my mother in half and drank her blood and when i blinked i saw my mom rushing through the doors and found i couldn't stop shaking.

She held me close and asked with a frown.

"Why do you keep on repeating Rose? Do you want her to come visit you here?". She asked handing me the pen and paper she found and i started to write with shakey hands.

" mom do not leave the hospital or go anywhere just stay with me please i don't want you dead please mom promise me you will". She stared at the paper and laughed because she believed i wrote that because i was still scared from my nightmares.

"Baby you know that i have some work to do at home and besides i will be back at night to stay with and nobody gonna kill mi ohk". She spoke lightly running her hand up and down my back in a reassuring way mother's do.

"Ok but......". My hand ceased to move and i couldn't seem to write it was as if there was a force pulling my hands away from the paper. My mom just looked at me and hugged me tight.

" Ok baby i get you are tired and i will let you rest i will be back in a hour time ohk i promise". She said trying to untangle herself from the embrace but i held on tight shaking my head furiously. "You will be fine the doctor gon' stay with you till i get back she is pretty nice you will love her.... Now sweetie let go". She finally undid herself from the hug and walked towards the door. She stopped and said somethings to the doctor before walking out. Part of me knew this was the last time i'd ever see her again.

Rose's pov:

Felt good scaring her like that but she needed to know what would eventually happen next to her mother. If she was being a little goodie goodie like she was before i'd consider that fact and spare her but no she chose to be bad and a bad kid need to be punished.

Walking down the side walk to her house i concluded doing Mia a favour my slowly killing her mother that way she can say her final words to her sweet precious little daughter who can't be friends with me.

Knocking at their door i was uchered in my their sweet maid Manny.

Manny was a good o'woman she always seemed to like me from day one since i met her the first time i had a sleep over with Mia. Good thing now she wouldn't have to die.

" Manny". I called when i took a sit at their kitchen table.

"Yes dear". She answered never taking her eyes off the cooker. She was always focused when she was working.

"Is Mia's mom around i need to send my heartfelt apologies to her on what happened yesterday to Mia". I said faking a sad face so as to look and sound believeable not that she wouldn't believe me anyways.

" Yes she came back an hour ago but i think she was exhausted after working and decided to take a nap in her room". She looked at me and smiled sadly before finishing " maybe you need to come another time when she will be awake".

Standing up i made to leave knowing fully well Manny would make me stay and eat dinner with her since Mia's mom is asleep. About to leave the kitchen i heard her calling me back and i smiled and walked back in and sat down back. Time to get some work wrapped up.

"Manny i need to use the bathroom can you show me to one". Iasked politely after awhile.

" Of course you can use the one in Mia's room just go upstairs turn to your write then you will see two opposite room the one near the end of the hallway belongs to Mia and the other one to her mother be careful not to wake her ok?". She replied.

"Yes Manny i will be as silent as the dead". I said laughing making my reponse as light as possible.

reaching up the stairs i moved swiftly to the front door of Mia's mother's bedroom after walking down their long hallway. Moving pass the door even if it was closed an advantage of being the devil's seed i could move past objects. I made my way to the large king sized bed and there curled Mia's mother in a deep sleep. Taking out a razor i started with the first phrase of my torture.

Cutting the first bit of skin from her leg she woke up with a shout but no one could hear her cause i made the room to be sound proof.

I continued to cut tiny bits of skin from her body making sure the bone underneath is seen while she kept on shouting and begging me to stop. Who in the devil's name beg for mercy in hell i wondered. Laughing as i cut the last bit of flesh from her body and her bones were all protruding. I made her eat her own flesh before plucking her eyes out to feed her. Don't worry i made sure she stayed alive to witness her death. Bringing out my recorder turning it on i said.

" Are there words you would like to say to your daughter".

"Ahhhh Mia run run run and never ever return back here also stay away from Ro____". I didn't let her finished as i split what was remaining of her in half. Having drank the scene to my fill i quietly walked out of the room and headed downstairs.

" what took you so long dear?". Manny asked.

"Had to go number 2 sorry but i made sure to clean up". I said laughing and she joined in.

"Okay dinner is ready come__". She started to say but i cut her short.

" No its fine my mom actually called and needed me to be home now sorry Manny". I said with a pale face to sound more convincing. She nodded as she understood and drawing me in for a hug she the said.

"Be safe ok". I nodded and wished i could replace her for mom cause she loved me so much i wouldn't mind hurting anyone for her sake. Not that i would hastitate to punish her if she decides to be a bad child.
