Rose pov:

Standing at the forest entrance in deep thought i heard the rumbling of leaves and i looked up and was shocked to see Mia. Why did she come here? Did she know why i came here? Oh no i doubt she looked innocent and oh shit i ain't meant to think that about her she can be a lower demon or an angel helper for all i know and i will find out very soon.

She looked at me and i saw every reason to hate her and i made sure she could see it through my face.

"Rose__ wasn't expecting to see you here". I heard her say and i cleared any trace of emotuon from my face as my other self took over the one that doesn't care or feel anything for anyone at all.

Smiling i chose not to reply let her think whatever she wanted i particularly don't care.

She stood looking at me willing me to talk but i maintained my gaze on her not spilling a single word. After what seemed like hours or so i thought has passed she looked uneasy and i liked the effect i had on her. I wasn't comfortable with the eye contact but i wasn't a fool to show it unlike Mia who was so open to a fault.

" This is awkward mehn". She finally said breaking the eye contact. Guess she couldn't take it anymore knowing Mia she was done waiting.

"Its either you unblock the way or go in you don't own the place". She said again since i didn't reply back. Such audacity had me raising one eyebrow and stepping aside and motioned for her to pass by.

She walked at a very slow pace i think she is scared from the looks of it and i laughed in my head. So much for confidence.

Walking past me i held her arm and out of reflex my nails grew and dug into the flesh of her arm and white blood slipped out from the small wound. My mind acted on its own cause before i knew it i was licking the tiny bits of blood off my fingers. Sometimes my inner devil becomes possessive and i hate those times because i love being in control of every situation. Coming to my senses i remembered saying something to her it must be my inner devil. Turning to look at her i mouthed.

"Angelus inferioribus". That is what she is the answer finally popped into my head. The higher angels should have thought better than to send a lower angel to cage the devil back. I made myself invincible to be able to spy on her confortably.

She inspected her arm once more and she looked shocked to see that the wound has healed like didn't whoever sent her tell her what she was ? Whatever good thing she is still a novice i won't have problem kicking that fucked up lower angel out of her body. Following close behind i saw she was just looking around as if she had lost something priceless. I could sense she was looking for the route we took before the incident happened.

Closing my eyes i willed the forest to bestow more confusion in her before i disappeared.

Mia's pov:

Entering the forest fully i looked around to see if Rose followed me. As i walked further i felt eyes on me and i searched around to know what kept on looking at me but i couldn't sniff a thing out. Losing hope i continued venturing into the thick forest.

It wasn't as i remembered it everything looked different unlike the way it was before. There were tall grasses everywhere and more trees with deformed shapes non of these things where here before unless it has grown within time past. But its been just a year and this changes couldn't have all happened so soon i thought.

Something definitely was wrong and me being more confused isn't helping matters.

Frustrated i sat down on a large rock beside a tree and decided to rest.

Closing my eyes i made myself confortable on the rock and steadied my back resting on the tree.

After several minutes has passed with me resting there i found myself slipping out of my body and i tried entering back but someone held be back i turned and i was blinded by so much light emitting from just one person.

Blocking my eyes with my free hand i spoke almost immidiately. "Can you tune down the light its to bright".

" Maybe, you know you shouldn't be scared of a small light since you are pure". The person spoke. I removed my hand from my eyes and to my own benefit i could see well and the brightness didn't hurt my eyes anymore.

"Who are you?". I asked prying my other hand from his grasp. Once i succeeded i moved at least 5ft away from him. Incase of any danger i could easily make a run from it even it means leaving my helpless body behind i reasoned with myself.

"Oh i am a messager you know one of archangels the ones with the high ranks" he pause a bit then continued "you might have heard my name multiple times already i am Rapheal you know the angel Repheal". He finished with a laugh so much for an angel who boasts tsk.

" So why are you here i thought__". I was cut short by his raised hand.

"Mia everything you read and believe are true and you were chosen for a reason your friend Rose needs all the help she can get and you are suitable to help her, you see, her soul was sold to the devil right before she was born indirectly and he has waited for the right time to manifest and i trust you can right the wrong seeing how pure you are" he paused to catch his breath before he continued "so Mia i know how much you love your friend and you want her to be free and normal and everything will go back to normal as they were before". He finished looking directly into my eyes.

"But my mother__". I was cut short again by him.

"At least somethings will be Mia just listen only to my voice and instructions and you, your friend and everything will be alright all you have to do is follow my lead". He rumbled.

Before i knew what was going on he grabbed my hand and lead me out of the forest and asked me to go home.

At the blink of an eye he was gone. Screaming i woke up and looked around and found i was still sitting on the rock. And wondered how possible when i found out i must have drifted off and had a dream. But no, the dream was so real i could feel it. Knowing what i saw actually happened i stood up and left the forest and headed straight home.
