The Reveal.

Mia's pov:

Sitting down for a while on my bed I decided to go out and practice since he gave me the day off. I tried relaxing with my phone but I couldn't so I decide to practice more on my own. Going down the stairs to the kitchen I couldn't find Manny anywhere so I decided to look for her around cause I was surprised there was no sign of lunch on the table and the house looked empty and that got me worried.

Since I knew Manny she has never left the house without telling me. I couldn't even perceive her fresh baked cookies anymore and every where looked clean and spotless.

"Manny!". I shouted as I started to panic

Searching the house for her.

"Manny? Manny?". I questioned as I heard a lady's whines outside on the balcony.

Opening the door to the balcony that lead outside I saw Manny lying on the floor with the gloceries she bought back scattered on the floor and it seemed like she was struggling with something I couldn't tell. Rushing towards her to know what's wrong with her but she raised up her left hand at me stopping me.

"I'm fine no need just help me pick up the gloceries and pack it back inside the back for me would you?". She said as she stood up suddenly and I thought maybe she had one of her seizures and it was nothing serious that called for alarm.

Picking up the gloceries and packing them I followed her inside. Since she had a seizure I decided to spend my free time helping her out today to cook and bake.

"Manny I would love to help you today to do the cooking and save you lots of stress". I said smiling.

"No Mia you don't have to worry about it besides don't you have school work to do like the usual". She replied trying to dismiss me.

"No Manny I insist today and I don't have any school work to do today". I answered back.

"Mia you don't even know your way around the kitchen to even know how to cook.. Maybe next time". She persists on sending me away which was unlike Manny who would try forcing me to cook but I'd decline saying I got school work to do and I can't.

"Manny have you forgotten you always wanted me to learn to cook so here I am offering my self freely today". I said giving her my sweet dimple smile that she certainly can't resist.

"Ohk fine Mia but don't touch the green bag and the contents inside". She said and I nodded in total agreement before she changes her mind.

We started to cook dinner since lunch time had long passed. It was fun cooking with Manny but she kept putting up a kind of attitude and suddenly covering it up so fast you wouldn't notice she was switching between two personalities. When we were done cooking we ate and resumed to bake some cookies. As we were baking the cookies she let me mix the batter for the cookie as she sat and told me what to put and bring.

"Mia I think you forgot to add more chocolate bits to the batter". She reminds me just in time before I started shaping the batter to a rounded shape.

"Thank you Manny". I replied as I searched for more chocolate bits.

"Manny I can't find more chocolate bits anywhere did you buy some?". I asked when I couldn't find any left and I hoped she bought some cause I hate cookies which didn't have enough chocolate bits in them.

"Check the green bag". She answered faintly I think she must've fallen asleep and I smiled remembering that Manny was getting a little bit older. Turning I moved toward the bag to look for the chocolate bits she said was inside.

Opening the bag I smelt an offensive odour and I immediately closed it and thought maybe I should wake Manny up cause my hands ain't going inside the smelly bag. But on a second thought I let Manny sleep as she seemed peaceful while at it.

Taking my time to go through the bag again I saw some odd things like dead rats and snakes, maggot jar, broken human bones and so many other things I could identify as I felt someone pull me roughly back. Turning to face the person it was Manny surprisely and she looked very angry. I have never seen Manny so angry like this ever before.

"I warned you not to touch the green bag didn't I?". She questioned angrily.

"But Manny asked me to search for chocolate bit inside". I replied getting annoyed for so many reasons I can't properly place. Manny has never behaved like this before I just don't know what changed.

"Next I ask you to stay away you stay away now off with you.. You have done enough helping today". She seeming to relax back. Carrying the green she strod back to her room. Sensing something was up I decided to follow her to know what's up cause 8 had the feeling that, that was not Manny at all and I will find out who that was.

Standing outside her room door I placed my ear to listen to what was going on inside. I could hear so many voices humming to an enchantment. I tried to make out what they were saying but I couldn't they sang in a tone I couldn't think of. I tried signaling Repheal but he wasn't forthcoming so I tried pushing the door open a little and the scene which played before was astonishing and I couldnt believe.

Was Manny a witch? Was she processed? I rhetorically asked my self. I strongly thought she might be the first cause it was only witches that can perform rituals and hum to songs or words inaudible and understandable to human ears. This was another reason I should practice harder. In my unconscious state to get away I tripped on the door mat which caused me to loose my balance.

"Who was there?". I heard her ask as she rushed to the slightly opened door but I had already raced down to my room.
