Laying in the hospital bed, he was in a deep slumber. His parents or the people surrounding him can call his name over and over, but he would hear nothing. Thanks to the analgesic, there was no pain. None from his stab wound or the stitches. Just lying there in a deep, deep sleep.
His unconscious mind was drifting, getting further and further away from his body. Like his soul was being pulled into another realm, another world. In a time when there was no electricity, no fancy smartphones nor designer clothing.
The place where his soul had drifted into was supposed to be unfamiliar to him, but yet, he felt as if he had known this world before. He wondered around the street, looking at the people on the street. At first, they didn’t seem to have noticed him, and busy doing their own business.
