Chapter 1️⃣

KHADIJA'S POV.

Khadija wakes up it's time for fajr, wake up, or if I catch you there Zaki Sanni (You will know me) my bad I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Khadija I am 19 Years old, I love reading and hanging out with my loved ones AUN is the university I got to. After praying fajr I slept back and my mom had to wake me up to get ready for school, I woke up but I was still sleepy so I laid down on the bed after which I went to the bathroom to take my bath. When I came out I looked for a dress to wear after which I dressed up and was ready to head downstairs, my family were sitting ready to eat breakfast, when I walked into the dining room I greeted my parents, my younger sister was angry with me because I took a lot of time to finish dressing and we might be late to go to school which my sister will be late for her class, so I decided to just go to school and eat from the cafeteria if not my sister will kill me.

After going to the kitchen to get a drink I picked my school things from my bed and went outside where my sister was, I opened my car and she entered looking all pissed off I said sorry and drove off to school. I don't have any early morning class on Mondays till 11 and I finish the class by 6:15 the same time my sister finishes also, I called my best friend and asked where she was and then she told me that she was in her room in the dorm I bought something from the cafeteria and then I went to meet her in her dorm room, basically, Aisha is the name of my bestfreind and we do everything together, I did not have any time for any boy, but a guy named Khalil in my class likes me that was what I heard, but I do not care and also people are telling me that I should atleast pretend as if I like him but I do not want anything to do with any boy so I did not allow it to bother me since the guy did not say anything to me so I just fashied it also my mum is my role model so I do not want to do anything that would annoy her and my mom usually says that; a girl should not do anything that would tarnish the reputation of her family and her future, so I do not want anything to do with him or any other guy.

When Aisha and I finished our class we were busy discussing what happened at Islamiyah because she did not come due to the fact that she was ill(She lives in yola so her driver picks her from school and takes her to Islamiyah and during the weekends she goes home). After some time we were done so we went back to our class because we were having maths next. Aisha told me that our exams would start soon so she has to start going to the math tutor for assistance, when she got home she told her parents and they agreed to her decision, so she had to reduce the way she goes back home. When I went home I took my bath, prayed, eat my food then I went to my sisters' room to talk to her after which I went to my parents' room when I was done I went to sleep.
