Since the time of creation, those in the realm of humans have been cultivating their souls in hopes of reaching enlightenment and becoming an immortal. They wished to see the lights of heaven as a God and live freely, but what happens when one of these cultivators actually doesn't want to go to heaven? And to make matters even more complicated, when she has one of their own attached to her at all times?

Dance of Dragons

"This energy," a distorted male voice growled as the creature sniffed the air before locking gazes with the princess, "You're another half breed, and related to that wretch as well." 


"I don't know what you're talking about," she replied as the dragon on her shoulder let out a hiss, "Both of my parents happen to be mortal." 


"And I would watch that tongue of yours," Mei Lián warned as her eyes narrowed at the demon standing before her, "because that 'wretch' you're speaking of happens to be my mother." 


"I could guess," the hound retorted, throwing his head back with a booming laugh, "That look in your eyes is exactly the same as hers." 


"If you recognize the look, then you should know what that means for you," the female scoffed as she limped forward a few paces. 


"Do not underestimate me, fool!" the Soul Hound barked at her as it hunched forward with its scales shifting to make it look larger, "this will not end the same way that it did all those years ago!"
