Malory and Kyle must participate in the annual April Fest production as the leading co-stars. If they can cooperate by the end of the production, their long records of uncivilized behaviour towards each other will be forgotten. 
Malory and Kyle attempt to cooperate, grabbing the opportunity to make a positive impact on their own future. In the process, they become entangled in the chaos of the other’s personal life. Malory learns of Kyle’s disturbing reality, and Kyle learns of Malory’s scarring past. Can these two brilliant but messy teens learn to rely on each other in the face of their silent battles?

Between The Lines

 It’s Friday once again and Kyle and Ron are surprisingly in school for rehearsals. 


 “This time will you attempt the scenes with the actions?” Mrs Cole asks, annoyed. 


 Mrs Cole seems surprised. She clicks her tongue in her mouth and scribbles something into her notebook while simultaneously transferring her tired face into a blank expression. “Let’s see what you got then,” she says, getting comfortable. 


 We’ve moved on from the first half of the play in terms of learning off lines, which is great. We’ve made a lot of progress. 


 The first half of the play consists of Valerie and Angus meeting while they’re both masked, under tricky circumstances. She rescues him from the bar, Angus continuously flirts and attempts to charm his way into Valerie’s heart –much to her displeasure- however she does come to enjoy his company on midnight adventures through the countryside and the villages over time.
