[29] Saving Saviours (Part 3)

(Malory)

Olivia, though she’s trying to appear calm, has taken in everything we’ve told her, and she’s smothering herself in a blanket, wrapped up on my couch. We’re all drinking hot chocolate.

“Why shouldn’t I tell someone?” She asks for the hundredth time. “Just because Ron and Malory didn’t say anything, doesn’t mean somebody shouldn’t.”

Kyle runs a hand through his hair. “I already told you that I’m going to try to fix things, Olivia. It’s not going to happen overnight.”

“Yea, but the way I see it, you can’t fix things without adding crimes to your list of completed missions and inevitably making the situation worse, either,” she says, spitefully.

“Look, Olivia, if you need time to think it through like Malory and I did, go ahead,” Ron says.
