Lengths of Trust [9]

(Malory)

“Well,” Grey says, sitting back into his seat and patting his stomach, “That was delightful.”

“Seems like you really haven’t had chicken wings in a while,” I say, smirking. “Missed it?”

He laughs, “Like hell.”

“We should get going,” I say.

Grey and I have completed our tasks of getting around the mall, taking a walk down a commercial lane, buying up a ton of gifts, and eating dessert before stuffing ourselves with chicken wings.

We head back to his car and soon we’re on the way home.

My message tone rings.

Kyle: putting plan to action

Me: what?

Kyle: NOW!

Me: I’m not home?????!!!!

Kyle: where are you?

Me: I’m heading home now... I’m with Grey

Kyle: I need evidence for Ace, PRONTO

Me: what am I supposed to do?

Kyle: you know how to fix things with makeup… can you dishevel things?

I think about it...

Me: I got it

I’m not giving you full face photos, just FYI
