Hurt your mate

I can't believe that he left me alone in the middle of the hall and went after that queen b. I never felt that much anger. I'll do better by going back to my room and get some piece of rest.

I went right away to my room. As I got into the room, I started feeling bad sort of feelings. It was as if something was tearing my heart into pieces. I tried my best to ignore this horrible feeling, but I couldn't.

I crossed my hands over my heart and started letting out one scream after another. Each of my screams was creating chaos around me and everything was falling down.

Doors busted appended, glasses shattered inside and outside the room. Everything around was badly damaged.

The pain did not stop at all, neither could I've afforded it no more. I kept on suffering for hours until it all started to become black before I blacked out.

When I woke up, I was in an unfamiliar room, a better one than the old one I was in. Though the last one was so beautiful, this one screams perfection.

I expected that I would be welcomed by Elijah, but never thought my father - the king himself - would be by my side.

I looked at him, not believing my eyes. I mean, he's not the perfect father, but if he's here for me, it means that he cares about me.

A hint of happiness finds its path toward my heart while watching my father, who was setting in front of me. Yet, something was keeping me sad, I can feel that my Hybrid is not feeling fine either.

«Things you need to know ..." My father started with no introductions

"First: Mates are for life, but rejection exists.

Second: Mates can't hurt each other physically; but they're still other ways to do it, like cheating on your mate. The pain you felt yesterday can only be caused by your mate.

Third: You can't drink your mate's blood, be grateful that you are a hybrid, and he's a Lycan royalty. Otherwise, you would be both dead by now." He stood up, intending to leave the moment finished lecturing his words, which caused me to feel a bit sadder than before.

I just learned that my mate was cheating on me, still, he's leaving me that way. Add it to the fact that I only have two people in my whole life.

One of them -my father- doesn't always want to be by my side, and the other one – my brother- can't be around me anymore.

I don't want to be alone, nor lonely, I took one last chance then call after my father. As he was walking to the door «Father! Would you like to stay with me, please?"

I wasn't sure what his reaction would be, but I needed someone to be by my side. He turned right away to face me, then helped me to stand on my feet. What came after did not only surprise me but also awakened all sorts of hidden feelings inside of me.

In the blink of an eye, my father held me in his embrace. I started crying immediately while hugging my father for the first time in my entire life.

I kept on crying for as long as I could. My father kept holding me, which I was grateful for.

After a while, I raised my head and broke the silence between us. «Dad! I want to break this bond, no matter what."

He said while caressing my head. «It's alright honey ... he's soon to leave your life once and for all. I'll help you to stand in front of him, look into his eyes, and reject him proudly. "

He posed, then continued, while pulling something out of his pocket.

"But first, believe in yourself. I don't want to see you cry, ever again. You are a hybrid, the only of your kind - yet the strongest out of all species. The flower of my love for Diana, my only child."

He was now holding a necklace between hands, and it was my necklace. I was dumbfounded for a while before he started explaining, not waiting for me to ask.

«My enemy's enemy has been my friend for a while." At the same time, he was helping to put my mom's necklace on. «Do you mean by that a Lycan helped you to get my necklace back?" I wondered; I mean it doesn't seem right.

«Smart exactly like Diana - Like mother, like daughter." His answer confirmed not only my suspicions but also got me wondering. "But why would someone betray his own kind?"

He looked at me and smile, «With time sweetheart, you will learn to trust no one but yourself."

Spending time with my father helped me a lot to get a bit over the situation I am stuck in. We didn't talk too much, we only talked about training and how would I get to be strong, I really wish if he told me more about my mother.

Did I mention that the room I was in was my mom and dad's room in the past … Well, my dad told me that beside me and my mom, no woman had found a way to this room. It kinda warms my heart that my father was thoughtfully faithful to my mother though he knows that she was no longer with us in this world.

I'd love to hear about their love story, how they met the first time? How do they end up loving each other though they're both from different species? I do badly want to know about their story, but I believe it's not the right time to ask about such a thing.

What's really matters now is that he's with me, and I was glad about that.

The night is mostly over, I took it as a chance to take some good piece of rest since tomorrow night is going to be a training night. I heard from my father that they will help me to know about my gift, I can't help but to wonder what sort of superpower I'm holding.
