The rightful king.

As I was about to explain myself to him, Elijah called me out '' Elizabeth! It's time to go.'' The way Liam and Elijah looked at each other showed that there is more than just hatred between them.

While leaving Liam's grabbed my hands then he said '' don't believe anything they told you, they will only create a monster out of you.'' I pushed him away '' I am a monster right now … but not because of them. You created the monster standing in front of you now.'' I explained, then left following the other vampires.

We kept on running until we were out of the Lycan's lands. Since it was almost daily, the vampires hurried themselves to the houses provided by the mysterious Lycan - Albert before the sun rose up. After all, not all vampires can walk under the sun. Elijah, and I along with the other ten vampires who have the shield as a gift, did not take rest that day. We were the ones who were in charge of the other security.

Until it's night, no one can move out of here … Meaning that our flight back will have to also wait until its night.

By the next night, we were flying back to the palace. The planes used on the trip back were specially designed for vampires. In order to protect them from the sun.

Everyone around seemed to be happy, but me. Guilt was destroying me, I mean sure I wanted both Liam and Selena to suffer as they did to me, but the other ones were innocent. They don't deserve what happened to them.

Elijah seemed to notice that I wasn't myself, so he made his move toward me. "What's wrong princess, you don't seem to be alright."

I looked at him, then answered him not trying to hide the regret I am feeling." I'm not feeling very well. I feel that what I did was wrong. My revenge should've to be toward Liam, only him. Not his people, they were innocent."

"When it comes to Lycans, none of them is innocent. You don't have to feel bad about it. Besides, it's our war, if it's not their people then ours will lose their lives.'' He explained trying to make me feel a bit better, but it did not work, to be honest.

" Elijah!" I called his name," is there any way to stop this war?" He did not utter any words for a while, but then he got a bit too close to me then he said "There is a way, one only way to stop the war.'' His answer brought a sort of joy into my heart, it's like he said something I'd love to hear about.

'' What is it, can you tell me?'' I asked him not knowing if I am allowed to know about such a thing or not.

'' Yes you can, but only if you want to." His words were easy to deal with like a maze, which made me a bit afraid of hearing his answer. Yet, I nod to him in approval to hear his answer.

"The Lycan's thrown must go back to its real owner, the rightful king." The rightful king, it means that my dream was truly one of my mother's memories, not just a dream.

"What? You're not surprised?" Elijah asked while watching my reaction. "By the rightful king – You mean the real mate son!!" He was surprised by my answer now.

"Well - Well - Well … How do you know about king Edmund's real mate?'' He wondered.

"I don't, I've just seen it in one of my mother's memories," I replied while holding my mom's necklace.

For Elijah, he did not say anything, he only sat quietly watching the necklace around my neck. I felt like I had to stop talking, but deep inside me, I still had other questions to ask.

I breathed in and out, then I asked him again. "Do you know who the king's first son is?'' He looked at me, the ignore me. I decided to change my question to:

"Is he the unknown Lycan who's helping us?'' Again he chose to ignore me.

'' Okay... Fine, I get it. You don't want to tell me, I will know it by myself … Anyway!'' I exclaimed, then I add "At less tell what will happen to Liam when this unknown prince will show himself up?" I was ignored for the third time. "Please! Tell me that nothing bad will happen to Liam"

He stands up took a bottle of wine drink it all the thrower it till it shattered. "Why do you care?" He asked "Tell me, why the hell do you care? Did he care when he caused your death? Did he care when he cheated on you? HE didn't. Why the hell should you care? All you should be interested in is to convince him to accept the rejection."

I kept quiet, in somehow – he was right. Why do I care? He stepped toward me then added "You are beautiful, strong, and talented. An awful person like him doesn't deserve you, neither deserve the happiness he'll have if you were by his side." Then he left.

I hate to say that, but he was right, I shouldn't care but I do. Then I remembered Albert, and I could see myself in his boat.

I should know who could be the king's first son, I really need to know. I need to finish the memory of my mother.

I closed my eyes, and held my mom's necklace between my hands then I whispered 'Please mom, I really need you to help me. Can you?'

As I opened my eyes, I found myself in the room where my mom and Logan's father were discussing in my dream.

It was the same memory but only advanced from where the first one stopped. I finally was able to see the king's real mate's full appearance. Her baby was in between her hands.
