1000 Letters to myself

The hallways are empty, just great now I'm definitely getting attention I think to myself.As I walk I can hear my sneakers on the floor and I don't even bother to lift my feet as I walk.The door of the classroom is open and Mrs Green is busy talking to the whole class as usual. She's probably talking about life and our life choices and a whole lot of crap. Everyone directs their attention at me and Mrs Green slowly turns her head and looks at me with a frown. I sigh and wait for her to give me a big warm sarcastic welcome and I start to count in my head. "How lovely of you to join us miss Soul just in time for the night shift hey?" She grins and the whole class giggles. I simply smile and wait for her to talk again, she walks towards her desk for a detention slip and then hands it to me smiling while saying, "Here you go, you know the drill now, now go ahead." I sigh and walk out to the hallway holding the detention slip tight in my hand. As I walk slowly up the hallway I hear Mrs Green talk again and this time not with me. Seems like I'm not the only one that has come late. I hear her call after me and say," Heather looks like you've got a friend to join you in detention." I stand still and slowly turn around brushing my hair out of my face and feeling quite irrated.
