Xin's POV
I was with my grandma in a big conference room. Every head for each department, both men and women, were present. They were wondering why I was here. Grandma was pleading that I don't attend the meeting. I don't know what's wrong with grandma.

Xin was avoiding everyone's gaze on her. She knows that some of them do not know her. They were wondering why a young girl like her is present in the world of adults here. Xin is turning 20 on the 26th day, this month of June. Xin was already an adult since she turned 18. She can't blame them though. She was the youngest one present in the meeting.
"There's a mutt in my company. Listen to all of their explanations, especially to the one from the financial department. I'm getting tired of handling them on my own. Veronica is so busy on their upcoming exam. It is hard getting old." Chelsea whispered to Xin.
It caught Xin's attention and she nodded. Chelsea smiled and planted a kiss on Xin's temple. She grabbed the documents from every department and read it while she was listening to the person who was speaking in front of them.
After two hours of listening to each department head, the lights were turned on again. Chelsea stood up. "We don't need explanations about the money that was stolen. I need answers to my questions about it. My team is still investigating this case. At least, the money problem was just contained in this building. Fortunately, I spread the news to the other branches. The scum will definitely touch the others' profit. They are on guards now."
"Do you have a clue as to who the culprit is?" Kelly O'Conner asked, who is the Chief Operations Officer of Chelsea's company.
"Not yet. We still don't have a clue...but someone will help us regarding this issue. I know that some of you do not know about my youngest granddaughter. I want to introduce to all of you, Xin. She's a genius tech. She can trace the mutt on this company." Chelsea gestured for Xin to stand.
Xin stood up and finally showed her face to all of them. She was holding her tablet and closed the browser window that she's searching with.
"With all due respect, Chairwoman, but what can a kid do about this?" An old man asked. He was bald, but he had white beard. A few men nodded in agreement.
Chelsea smirked. "She's the person working behind this company. Or let's just say that she's one of the brains of this company. She's the one who gave us these things in this successful company. She's the reason why we were able to put up branches on other countries. And I'm proud to tell you that she is my granddaughter."
Gasps were heard on the room. Xin's face remained expressionless.
Xin placed her laptop, tablet, and some documents on the table while she was still standing. "Don't judge a person that you just met, bald man." She said while her gaze was like piercing through the old man.
Some snickered, and some tried to contain their laughter. The old man became red and remained quiet.
"Please wear some wig or hat. Your head is shinier than my own butt, it's hurting my eyes." Honestly, Xin is really evil when a man tries to disrespect her.
Laughter filled the room. Chelsea turned her back at them and laughed silently.
"You!" The man yelled.
Xin gestured for the man to stop before he could say anything, before she could bury him alive.
"The main problem here was that the mutt was trying to sell information about this company. The mutt is not only stealing money, it was also stealing information about this company that only my grandma and her most trusted people know." She looked at her laptop and scrolled down. Everyone was just quiet as they listened to her.
"Wow. Ungrateful fool for doing this to me." Chelsea said in disbelief.
"How come you know about this?" Kelly asked Xin.
"Oh..Just the basics of what I do. It's easy to hack someone's cell phone. It's way too easy to trace the mutt here. He also has an accomplice inside this room." Xin grabbed her tablet and tapped it.
Silence filled the room. Xin looked around. Some were confused, some were shocked, and some looked like they didn't give a damn.
"Him?" Chelsea asked.
"Yes, a he. There are three people involved. Two guys and one girl. I already sent some people to tail them so that they won't be able to get away so easily." Xin said as she put her tablet down.
"And how sure are you that they are the mutts here? If you accuse someone without any evidence, you can go to jail." The old man started again, with a grin.
Xin rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Just like I said, basic. Mister?"
"Kevin Green."
"Okay, Mr. Green. How can I explain this to all of you if you keep interrupting me? I know being bald is a bad thing in men. But please, you can confirm to us that your brain is still functioning, right?"
Again, the old man was fuming. He clenched his fists.
"The documents that you submitted to us were one of the reasons. I checked the other details on my laptop. You, Mr. Green is one of the culprits. Don't try to discredit me by trying to humiliate me in front of these people with your half-assed tactics."
Chelsea stood up and yelled. "Grab him!"
A few men grabbed Mr. Green.
"Wait! Don't accuse me without any evidence!" Mr. Green shouted.
"I already sent the evidence to grandma, sorry." Xin shrugged and sat again.
"You bitch!" He struggled to free himself from the men who grabbed him.
"He was working here for me for far too long that I already lost count of how many years it has been." Chelsea said in a dejected tone when Mr. Green was brought outside the conference room. The other people were still in shock.
"I had a feeling about him being the mutt.." Kelly said.
"Humans are really foolish." Seraph said in her head.
"You're half human too, remember?" Xin answered in her head.
"But we are still different."
Xin sighed. Seraph was right though.
"Just ask me for help anytime, grandma. I will help you out in any way I can. Okay?" Xin rubbed Chelsea's back to soothe her.
"Thank you, baby girl."
Xin nodded and patted her shoulder.
"To anyone here who has plans on doing the same thing as they did, I swear I'll make you suffer. I hope this serves as an example to all of you." Chelsea announced.
The people agreed to her.
