Chapter Fifty Nine

"Bye Eli! Bye pretty girl!" His little voice screams out to us. He blows us each a flying kiss from the porch.

After the fireworks, we brought him home and we promised to come see him in a few days. He doesn't want to go sleep though.

"Bye Jay!" I scream sending him a flying kiss back. He pretends to catch it with both his little hands and my heart aches at the cute action. If only I could see him more often.

"Bye bud! Go to sleep!" Elijah screams to him and he nods before walking around Norah and inside. She gives us a quick wave before closing the door.

"So, it's just you and me." He says, wrapping an arm around my shoulder and pulling me tightly against him.

"Too tight." I manage to say and he loosens his grip on me.

"So?" He asks.

"So, can we get in? It's kinda getting cold." I say shivering slightly. He nods and jogs over to my door, holding it open for me.
