In Danger

Chin Sha paused before laughing heartily. It spread out to the entire restaurant and attracted everyone.

Ignoring their sharp gazes, Chin Sha said through qi telepathy, "Interesting! I don't know what grudge you have with the big clans in this empire but I'm in!" He said as he slapped his table.

"I know I didn't choose the wrong person." The Grand Noble smiled before continuing, "But before we delve much further. I want you to know that these three behemoths are not to be underestimated.

"Their status is not for show. Even the Emperor himself had to bow his head when meeting with the head clan."

Chin Sha swayed his hand as he leaned his back against the chair as said casually, "Don't worry. I may look like it but I'm not reckless. I'll follow your words thoroughly."

The Grand Noble nodded as he was satisfied. One did not need a disobedient dog.

"So, what's the plan? Are we going to crush them completely?" Chin Sha asked.

"No need, I want something from them. Each of these clans has it."

"How boring. It can't be that you're afraid?"

"Hmm?" The Grand Noble glared at him as he was being rude. Chin Sha realized that.

"I'm sorry," he quickly apologized.

"You must remember your position, Chin Sha. Anyway, what you have to do is in that Magnifier."

Chin Sha fished the green jade out of his pocket, poured his qi into it and an image showed in the air.

It looked like a holographic image.

Chin Sha slid the image to the right and it showed another one. He was aware of this jade.

"These things are no different than the clan itself. If you steal it, it is no different than making the enemy of an entire clan," said Chin Sha. His tone was solemn and a bit worried.

"Can you do it? Or you cannot?" The Grand Noble ignored his worries.

After a short pause, Chin Sha smiled, "Interesting, then can I get a tiny bit of it? It could catch a high price in the black market!"

"You may, though, if you take more than you said, you know what is going to happen," the Grand Noble said as he sipped a cup of tea.

Casually, Chin Sha responded, "It's okay, I know who to provoke. Unlike that brat, Granger."

"His real name is Xu An. I don't know why he hid his real name when we first met. Regardless, I want you to do something to him," said the Grand Noble as he put down the cup.

Chin Sha frowned upon hearing that and not waiting for him to utter a sound, the Grand Noble ordered, "Send your man to cripple him before Death Rush starts? Make sure to not let anyone notice it."

"That's what I've been thinking too. My win is already definite, he's going to lose. If we crippled him, Death Rush is going to end the moment it starts," Chin Sha voiced out his thoughts. Even if the Grand Noble did not say anything, he would've done the same.

His time was limited. Why would he have to exchange his time playing with girls to beat up a kid? What a drag!

The result was obvious and Chin Sha wanted to speed things up.

"It's good that we have the same mind. I don't have to say what you should worry about," the Grand Noble said.

"You're talking about that brat's little brother, Xu Yang, right? Un, he's a talented genius and troublesome fellow. However, as long as I didn't get discovered. Everything will be okay."

Chin Sha knew just how caring these two brothers were and if he discovered that he crippled Xu An. His end might be a painful one.

"I'll leave the job to you." The Grand Noble stopped the topic and changed the topic.

"One last thing, act carefully and shake off any trails. The Emperor is wary of us and sends some people watching over us."

Chin Sha looked around and noticed a few people with suspicious movements. They were a few tables away from him and occasionally glanced at them.

Chin Sha naturally averted his gaze to the side without incurring any suspicion.

"Should I kill them?" Chin Sha asked.

"No, it's better to let them be. If we kill them recklessly, it would put the entire capital on guard. Let's just lay low.

"Ah, also, I've heard your bounty increased to 60 million Yakhu," said the Grand Noble as he confirmed something.

After a short pause, Chin Sha responded, "News comes quickly. That's right, what's wrong?"

"I'm interested in the Angelic Crystal you stole."

"...how much are you going to offer?" Chin Sha asked after some consideration.

"Two hundred million Yakhu," the Grand Noble replied without hesitation.

As soon as Chin Sha heard it, he was tempted and wanted to complete the deal immediately!

However, he regained his calm. He had the stuff here, he could increase the price but not too far. He didn't want to push his luck that much.

"250 million Yakhu," said Chin Sha.

"210 million. I've seen what kind of crystal it is. It has potential but currently, its power is low so don't push your luck," said the Grand Noble solemnly.

After a long pause, Chin Sha finally gave his answer, "fine, it's yours. I'll send one of my men to give you the item. How are you going to pay?"

"As soon as I get the item, I'll pay. Don't worry, I value credibility."

After a meal with the Grand Noble, Chin Sha took a huge detour to shake off any pursuers before going to his giant mount.

It was outside of the capital, around 2kms away and perfectly hidden.

His giant mount is a giant Ray with buildings on its back. It could mimic its surroundings and conceal itself perfectly.

Noticing its boss, the Ray lay down its right-wing and Chin Sha stepped his foot onto it as he went to its back. It felt like climbing a mountain.

Reaching its back, Chin Sha gathered his guild members in the main building and discussed a plan to cripple Xu An.

After an hour, they finally reach a conclusion.

The skinny man who accompanied Chin Sha in the pub, and two fellows. These guys would be the one who going to cripple him.

Xu An narrowed his eyes as he felt something was wrong. He subconsciously turned his head back.

"What's wrong?" Morgiana asked.

They were outside the city and Xu An's small hut was in the vicinity.

"No, nothing. I just feel something very bad is going to happen."

After a brief silence, Morgiana said, "well you offend a Grand Noble. It would be weird if there's nothing bad going to happen."

"Is that supposed to comfort me?"
