With the spear just behind Xu An, the latter extended his hand backward and grabbed it.

Because of the spear's flying momentum, his body got carried by the spear, heading to the monster's head.

"You're going for my head with a measle trick?" The monster pondered in an underestimating manner.

"Reizen, shoot more!" Xu An demanded in a hurry. He tried to stop his body from being carried by the spear's momentum by making his body heavier, which worked wonderfully.

He stopped mid-way before reaching the monster's head.

The monster became confused as though he didn't expect such a development. He simply stared at Xu An when he fell to the lake with a splash.

Next, he came out of the water, looked around, and found a piece of log. He swam there, propped himself to get above it.

"Why are you not attacking?" Xu An asked when he sat on top of the log.

"It would be boring if things ended quickly."
